Ask any professional UK boxers how many times per year they get tested and when.

Ukad has hardly any money and test a tiny % of fighters/fights. Random testing i.e. not immediately pre/post fight is almost unknown.

That was years ago and said by David Price. Some are tested more than others. But at least it's a legit system. No one else has it in world boxing. Then add in other testing like VADA and it's clear we're the most tested in boxing.

I agree, unless they can say the sample was a false positive that means nothing. What’s telling is they are saying he was cleared but they won’t even tell the reason why or by whom.

They are essentially saying he was approved to fight and that’s all that matters. However that is simply sighting the heart of the problem. The question is why are we not to believe the clearance was based on a corrupt business practice that put lives at risk? Who signed off on the clearance? What rational supported putting Rivas at risk with out even the humanity of early notification?

Any context on why that decision was made and why key people weren’t in the room. This all just makes the decision look even more shady. Hearn should be under investigation.

Agree. Jail time for those responsible is the only way. Fines do little. They are ultimately treated as the cost of doing business. They have a very corrupt and shady boxing commission and doping agency over there that allow drug cheats to compete even after popping dirty for banned substances without even notifying their opponent's camps about it.

Campbell could come in juiced to the gills and the shady BBBoc will still allow him to fight and compete without notifying Bob or Team Lomachenko pending an appeal of his dirty A-sample which is both wrong and unethical .

Had it been a case like Miller's where it was obvious cheating was intended, the fight would have been called off. But with there being doubt to Whyte's guilt, they couldn't convict him and punish him. Telling the other side probably would have resulted in the fight being called off with Whyte being looked on as guilty and losing his pay day. Innocent until proven guilty over here. As it should be. Whyte and his side had to present something strong enough to allow him to fight. They did so. That's why the fight was a go.

I'll tell you why. He enjoyed Usyk's fight in UK (against Bellew) and he also had great memories for 2012 Olympics which he won. Usyk is his close friend. And so Loma asked for a fight in UK as a way to spread his popularity.
