I agree, unless they can say the sample was a false positive that means nothing. What’s telling is they are saying he was cleared but they won’t even tell the reason why or by whom.
They are essentially saying he was approved to fight and that’s all that matters. However that is simply sighting the heart of the problem. The question is why are we not to believe the clearance was based on a corrupt business practice that put lives at risk? Who signed off on the clearance? What rational supported putting Rivas at risk with out even the humanity of early notification?
Any context on why that decision was made and why key people weren’t in the room. This all just makes the decision look even more shady. Hearn should be under investigation.Comment

Investigation needs to be controlled by the Federal government well beyond UKAD. These en****** are the ones in question.
So let’s change the context a bit. If an Organization said clearing a fighter for Margarito style “hand bricks,” needs to be handled confidentially, does it make it right?
So Hearn has no responsibility as a human being to stop the fight, protect the other fighter or even notify him of the impending danger?
You don’t need business conditions to tell you what to do here. These crimes should be punishable by the laws of society.
You are an idiot, spouting Hearns spin for dinner. Give me something tangible.Comment

The sooner someone gets prosecuted for some kind of "criminal intent" charge, with managers, coaches,as well as fighters, put on oath about PEDs, the sooner commissions and governing bodies will actually start treating this ***** seriously IMO.Comment

Yes, this is the only way to get it right!Comment

Had it been a case like Miller's where it was obvious cheating was intended, the fight would have been called off. But with there being doubt to Whyte's guilt, they couldn't convict him and punish him. Telling the other side probably would have resulted in the fight being called off with Whyte being looked on as guilty and losing his pay day. Innocent until proven guilty over here. As it should be. Whyte and his side had to present something strong enough to allow him to fight. They did so. That's why the fight was a go.We are not going to skate the issue, this goes to the Hearn bots trying to find an adequate spin?
It is not about nationalism, country mandates for testing or who has the more strict levels of testing.
Why was the Rivas team simply not notified of the dirty sample, the hearing and brought in to the decision to move forward?
Their fighters life was on the line and most relevant to the outcome. In a several week period, two boxers had just died due to ring injuries.
Still waiting for the morale and ethical justification. Did Matchroom have to be told human life is valuable and bigger than their immediate profits? Still waiting Hearn puppets.
As for nationalism... You're one of the biggest nationalists on here with your constant delusion, lies and smears. Just like most from your side.Comment
