Does boxing die when Manny retires?

We were spoiled by pac and floyd.
There is a thread on here chitting on Canelo's resume. Guy has the best resume in the world outside of Pac and hes only 28 in his prime and only adding to it. People are like oh but he has a bunch of close wins and so called robberies. Ok that happens when you fight everyone. Look at holyfield and Oscar, lost a lot of their big fights or had close fights or robberies. They are still highly regarded. Canelo will be highly regarded too.
People are expecting every fighter now to be a viable candidate for the top 10 p4p list now. Its not going to be like that all the time, it cant.Comment

The sport is bigger than any one person. No matter how great they are. Boxing will always deal with the elements everyone has mentioned but what makes boxing special is that it’s something that’s in us all. We all can relate to it. It taps into the animalistic and carnal aspects of any living being. And seeing two men or women try to take each other’s head off will always appeal to us.Comment

No, unfortunately Pac is not the end of all boxing. It existed before him and it will exist after him. However, the sport will miss him once he does decides to hang up the gloves for good.
The fight I would like to see Pac fight next before Errol Spence is Mikey Garcia. That should be a very fun and entertaining fight. If not Mikey Garcia, then Danny Garcia vs Pac man. That should suffice also.Comment

Boxing survived the passing of Ali and other boxing greats...Retirement of pac will be just like closing only one chapter of a continuing saga...Comment

manny can have the torch taken away from him if one these young talented fighters whoop his azz badOriginally posted by iamboxingThe talent will be there but I think the days of boxers becoming household names is over and you can thank PPV for that.
People who didn't follow boxing and only tuned in to watch HW fights still knew who Mayweather and Pacquio were. No one knows who the **** Thurman or Spence are. They don't. Anyone who says otherwise is either in denial or can't see past their own nose.
Like manny did oscarComment
