Not always. There have been some shows on FOX where they didn't fare well in the demos that matter.

For this card they were on par with most of their competition. And LIS, may even do better once the official numbers come out with the main event included.

I always see these threads and people say the ratings are bad.

But if you look at the key demos, the ratings are very competitive with the other networks and a boxing show is much cheaper than a lot of those other shows.

Yes Shark Tank did 2 million viewers and boxing did 1 million viewers, but in 18-34 and 18-49, they did the same exact rating.

They usually don't do well in younger demos though. Their previous FOX card had nearly the same total viewers as the UFC's ESPN card that same day, however, PBC only had 55% as many viewers in the 18-49 demo.

Both PBC hours did .2 in 18-34. No network did more than .2 in that demo all night and most did .1. You need to read the chart again.
