No one wants to take that risk when theres a lot of investment. Too much money to be made on the rematch. If GGG or Canelo loses then all that money is gone.

Does it matter? A loss is a loss and a loss is money down the drain.
BTW i have Canelo P4P right now but this is a business decision IMO. You make investments and you want returns. Just the way it works.

As a fan I want to see the rematch. BTW Canelo wins again. But I want to see it!

Listen, the last thing GB can afford to do, it damage the trust it has built with the biggest star in boxing.

If Canelo rolls with Al Haymon tomorrow, GB is finished, he will fight out his network contract, which is def runs past his GB contract, and considering Haymon is a manager, Canelo has the perfect out.

Golden Boy rushes him into this deal, which has a big principle, but in reality, limits his market cap year to year, Canelo could be making $80 million, $100 million, if he was on PPV, and don't tell me that PPV is dead, because PBC is eating right now, and they have nobody on the level of Canelo. Canelo's contract is like Bryce Harpers, go look at it, not as amazing as it sounds.

This is speculation, but does anyone think that maybe this is Canelo and Golden Boy trying to save face? I mean, if Golden Boy takes the blame then Canelo looks good. Any thoughts? I feel like Canelo and Golden Boy are too tight.
