Boxing is no different than our daily life, everything is rush, rush, rush! Unfortunately boxing should not be this way. We have seen it more than once how rushing a great prospect can kill his career. We saw it with Francisco Bojado, David Reid, and Fernando Vargas. 2 of them reached status as world champ, but it cost them to have a very short lived as elite fighters. Bojado was label as the Next Oscar De La Hoya, and made to believe he was invincible to any fighters, until he ran into Rubio and his career was down hill from there on. David Reid won a title at a very early stage of his career and like Vargas was put in with a season lion like Felix Trinidad and he broke them and destroyed their careers. Handlers have to understand that there is a difference when you put a young lion in his early 20's vs a mature fighter that has been there for a while, not only on the experience factor, but also on the strength factor. Even though people suspect that a young lion is stronger in their early 20's that is not true! That person is still developing in strength mental and physical, and if he gets caught good he would go. See the Ray Mancini vs Alexis Arguello fight and you will realize what I'm saying.

What about Haney? Abdullaev? Lee Selby?
The only setback for Arum is to create a multi fight contract for an opponent to fight Loma after Commey.
Same setback goes to Haney and others as they might be reluctant to fight Loma too.

I thought Lopez would be working on a special dance to do after this fight. What? No special dance? No Backflips? Where are all his fans that love that crap?

Selby is possible, but I doubt he wants to face Commey
