Like I said in the other thread, Lopez' insecurities and kinks in his "armor" are glaringly obvious. Add another insecure bully to the list. That's typical of someone over-the-top who is trying to compensate for something. Maybe he has a 2 inch ****.

He is like a big monster in a movie that when you take a pin and pop him, he shrinks from 30 feet tall to 6 inches tall and runs off in a high voice. Fighters lose close family members, come from all kinds of heartbreaks, failed relationships, recover from car accidents, have massive earthquakes and floods in their countries, ***ing gunshot wounds even, like Tevin Farmer did, and still fight and win titles.

Not a good look for a fighter being offered a shot at the greatest prize in all of boxing. He tried to set himself aloft and above all the competition like he is some takeover (more like had a shakeover) and he only set himself up for failure and is frightened of writing a check his ass cant cash.

Typical bully mentality that will have a crash and burn ending.

Yeah he beat Paulus Moses better than Beltran did imo and he is ranked near the top 10

I wish he was still IBO champ so it could've been a "unification" fight. Then Loma could become a five belt undisputed champ. It'd be very impressive. Anyways that Moses win was indeed a sign of Tagoe's immense talent. He should make for a great opponent for Commey, a real test and a very good second defense.

Maybe, maybe not. But one thing is certain, he knows he can't win against Loma, made his name talking **** about Loma and when his bluff was called out, he is now running for his life.

You're not seeing the big picture here. It's not so much about not getting the KO, it's more so that Lopez is showing vulnerabilities in and outside the ring. Exhibit A: "no more tall guys for me". The guy is already having problems making weight and 140 is full of tall fighters with long arm reach. Exhibit B: "If we don’t sort these things out, there won’t be a fight between myself and Richard Commey". Teo is showing doubt and uncertainty which are signs of weakness. It's okay to admit you're still young and learning but don't go talking up a storm that you're the best at this or better than this guy (Loma) and then make excuses cause you got problems. Like Commey said, everybody got problems but those problems are to be put to the side when you go to work and if you know it's not the right time, then you should've thought about that before rushing to a title shot

It's a bad look just because he and his father created this hype train with thier bold statements and dances.

After he struggled in his last fight, he should have just given the Japanese fighter praise and said it was good to get the rounds in. The family excuses and "no more talk guys" talk showed frustration and mental weakness.

When the title and pathway to fight Lomachenko are right there for him, provided he fights and beats Commey, "The Takeover" says "no thanks". Dude does a complete 180. So yeah, a fake injury would have been a better look for his image.

Boxing fans can be fairly moronic at times. Yeah Lopez had some struggles against Nakatani. Nakatani was no chump though. He was a bit raw, and unrefined, an up and coming prospect, but his jab was top notch, and his right hand was above average. Add to that, he actually had handspeed on his straight punches. Pair that with his height, and he is no walk in the park. We all saw Lomachenko have issues with two guys who could box a little, with Pedraza and Linares and they weren't nearly as tall as Nakatani, and their jabs weren't as snappy as his.

On the other hand, Lopez needs to not lose his balls. He talked all that ****, and now is making excuses for what is perceived as a lackluster showing against another good prospect. When you face a quality opponent, you often won't look as good as you do against cans. It would be fairly disappointing if he all of a sudden *****es out and avoids the Commey fight. Commey is made to order for Lopez, crude in style and technique, average speed, poor defense etc. I know I wasn't the only one to see Commey hurt a couple times by old man Beltran the last time out.

Loma had "issues" with them only because of torn labrum. And if convincing wins can be called "had issues"...

Commey can fight Pedraza or rematch Easter Jr in the meantime, if you ask fans they can find some even matches for Commey if he is really looking for opponent
