      Isn't Canelo in talks with Andrade's team? What happened with that report? If that is the case, wouldn't it be also said that GGG ducked Andrade, who got more complicated style than Derevyanchenko?

          yes, but that was their reason for stripping him. they jumped the gun in doing so imo...if they were going to allow him to negotiate the fight anyway, they could have waited until it fell through and not used a bs reason for stripping him that didn't match the situation. especially because the negotiations with canelo had fallen through at that point. for all the ibf knew at the time the took action, ggg could have still satisfied their conditions. at the end of the day, it was canelo getting caught for peds and pulling out of the fight that set the whole circus in motion.

              Yes, precisely and unifications should always over rule basic title defenses imho
