You were the one who thought he wouldn't touch Stevenson numbers. So he outperformed your expectations to.

Secondly he sold out. More tickets than Stevenson did in his hometown. More than Crawford does in his hometown. And what makes that more impressive is that he isn't from a one horse town. Baltimore (the DMV area in general) has a lot competing for entertainment dollars. Me and this other got was taking about how after the Easter Jr fight in Toledo the whole city was dead. Easter doing 10k+ in his hometown is good. But doing it in bigger cities is impressive.

Thirdly as you can see from the numbers his social media impressions were high. Over a million people watching his highlight KO is over a million views even if they didn't watch on Showtime. He still got massive exposure.
Your last point makes my point. Most of these people would rather watch his highlight than pay to subscribe to showtime to watch his fight.

You want to see crazy numbers? Look at the views from Teofimo’s Fortnite dances. Those are killing all non boxing fans.

Having someone watch your highlight is nice but that doesn’t pay the bills or get ratings for showtime.

He has a nice start but unfortunately for him and his weight class he’s on the wrong side of the street. I don’t see him sticking at 130 much longer but 135 is also on the DAZN and espn side of the street.

Thought this was a parody thread but seems people are actually serious about gervonta being a PPV star.

Those people need to be checked into a mental hospital quickly

They've been hanging out forever. Tank was getting in trouble before he even met AB. AB is the reason Tank is in the position he's in now. Y'all blame everything on AB but the truth is AB only gets AB in trouble.

could you tell the difference between teofimo and broner? just the other day you were saying how he would ko loma. fighting bums tells us almost nothing. tank beat one solid fighter who fought the dumbest strategy maybe ever. tank didnt look good at all against fonseca who was moving around. still a lot of questions for this little dude. i applaud him for being the first little person to be a ppv star but lets see if hes actually good.

as far as the ratings go lets put it this way. he did half the rating that wilder did on show and wilder is no ppv star so logically tank is no ppv star either.

Davis already is one the top fighters in the world. I'm talking about his boxing and fighting skills only. I don't care for his superstardom. Wake up, bro. Use your eyes. This guy is the real deal.

I agree with you, tho, about Floyd's BS promotion.
I agree, P4P is subjective but he is not even in the conversation yet because he is being overprotected. All I'm saying is that Davis gets very little attention from media - not a lot of people know his name.

I didn't say a word about his boxing skills
