It's obvious you aren't going to answer the question do I'll answer it for you. According to WADA'S rules the threshold for dbol is ZERO
So when you say he was cleared to fight are you claiming they determined he did not fail a PED test and he was absolved?Comment

Insurance law doesn't protect a fighter in the ring.UKAD did everything according to their rules and their rules comply with WADA. They had the same rules when they handled PED testing for the London Olympics.
Do you really think that nobody at WADA or UKAD would have checked to make sure those rules comply with insurance law?Comment

He was talking about Insurance and whether they would pay if they determined that the BBOC erred in their judgement. I was pointing out that is irrevant because insurance agreements between two other parties doesn't protect a third party. Whether they pay Whyte or not is irrelevant. What protects the fighter in this case is knowing that his opponent is a clean fighter and that the gloves are up to his satisfaction. Russ is highly respected in the boxing community. He's outraged over how this was handled and rightly so. I expect that whoever made these decisions will be disciplined by the BBOC. The two major points he brought out that to him appear irregular are allowing Whyte to fight without his opponent knowing all the details and the how the glove situation was handled. The BBOC is a regulatory agency. Their policies, guidelines or rules are only legal if courts uphold them.Comment

I'm sure the BBBoC rules will stand up in court, including the one which allowed the fight to go ahead without Rivas being informed of Whyte's flagged UKAD test.He was talking about Insurance and whether they would pay if they determined that the BBOC erred in their judgement. The WBC, as well as the BBBoC, had an inspector present during the whole procedure with the gloves. If there were any rule infringements they wouldn't have sanctioned the fight.
Whyte had a problem with his selected gloves. What were they supposed to do .. call off the damned fight?Comment

Did he have a problem, or did he loan/give them to someone else? Supposedly Whyte said one thing and whomever the BBBoC official present was said they didn't fit or some such.I'm sure the BBBoC rules will stand up in court, including the one which allowed the fight to go ahead without Rivas being informed of Whyte's flagged UKAD test.

Also, would the WBC accept a written protest over something that they supposedly just accepted and cleared 20-30 mins beforehand? Can someone link where it's being said that the WBC was cool with the new gloves? I've read that claim a few times in forums but haven't read it anywhere closer to an official source.Comment

Call Anber into the locker room with the official show him the gloves before they are put on and get them approved. They don't have to cancel the fight if the gloves are approved by Russ. If they aren't then the fight is delayed until they come to an agreement or put the original gloves back on. As Russ said the original gloves were not used by anyone else so they had to be there.I'm sure the BBBoC rules will stand up in court, including the one which allowed the fight to go ahead without Rivas being informed of Whyte's flagged UKAD test.
