DAZN has completely capitulated, they have bowed down to Canelo's demands. Sounds like DAZN is saving face leaking this "insider info", if there was any cut at all, there is a high probability is was very minimal.

Canelo had and still has all the leverage, he's the product, the superstar. Like Bob Arum says, he is the ONLY one moving the needle at DAZN, they know it now, I bet a lot of people cancelled their monthly memberships temporarily when they heard he wasn't fighting in September.

That's dumb on DAZNs part. GGG can void his contract if he doesn't get that fight.

Canelo f#cking up his own money to not fight GGG. This is getting kinda like when he dropped his belt to avoid GGG earlier on.

Canelo just hoping someone beats GGG I guess so he don't gotta fight him again.

And this news would make it sound like best case GGG's trilogy fight with Canelo just got pushed back til Sept. 2020. 13 months & probably 2 fights might be a big ask of an older cat like GGG.

Sucks to be DAZN right now lol. Mfers giving out two of the biggest deals in boxing to the top 2 guys at 160 & the fight might never happen now & best case its a year away. DAZN needs to hand GBP more money & 2nd fiddle Eddie soon & they probably need to entice another big name over to DAZN soon to get some extra hype on them with this big L they just took to Canelo.

But can DAZN use Canelo to get GGG (if that's what happened?)
Can they promise GGG a fight with Canelo if he didn't agree to it?
Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Canelo hates GGG and he can get more money fighting GGG than anybody else.

If he thought he could beat him legit, he would fight him.

Canelo got to avoid GGG and still make $33 million. He gave up 2 million to not fight GGG and take a lesser fight. Derev is scrappy but ain't on Canelo's level. He didn't really give up much when your still getting that kinda pay day to fight non ppv caliber guys that aren't punchers
