How many draws would Loma do at his hometown with tickets priced in the thousands in US dollar? It wouldn't even be a boxing news if he fought there. Arena would be empty. Even if the tickets were priced in the hundred dollar range.

Davis would roll a lot of money in Vegas. Even Loma knows Davis is his mega fight. He said it a few times.

    Contain your hate, bro.

and canelo seling 350 against an opponent like smith is pretty good.....

and with the fury/wilder...spence/garcia fights you have to consider not one of those guys was a MAJOR star commanding a huge number....so to hit the 300k mark for those fights was considered good....everything i read from showtimes ends and people who cover the business end of the sport suggested that those fights were successful....maybe not majorly...but they didnt tank......like say crawfords did.....or kovalev/ward fights...
Okay I get what you're saying.
And you make great valid points..

That dude is either a braindead lunatic or has a side gig promoting Tank.

And.. no, the fight wouldn't do well in Baltimore, even at the gate. In grand scheme of things, virtually nobody in MD knows who he is, and it's Baltimore. They wouldn't crack $1M gate.

Well, Tank is the one holding up that fight. Doesn’t want any part of a prime Loma. He talks about Loma turning 40 eventually. Right now the only one he is calling out is Farmer, with 4 losses and only 6 wins by KO, LMAO.

Any idea how the tickets were priced for tank’s fight in b-more?

The arena was sold out against a soft opposition. Damn some people. You are an idiot.

                  1. Spence vs Crawford
                  2. Wilder vs Fury 2. I didn't pay for the 1st one but I think after that first fight it merits a PPV price tag for the rematch.
                  3. Pacquiao vs Mayweather obviously if it happens again
                  4. Spence vs Pac
                  5. Loma vs Tank I'd pay for
                  6. Mikey vs Loma

Look, I don't care if they do PPV's but PLEASE stack the damn Card like Pacquiao vs Thurman Card was stacked

Give us multiple World Championship fights at least! While I'm not crazy about Spence Jr vs Porter on PPV, I do like that they have David Benavidez vs Anthony Dirrell on the Card and hopefully that add more good fights on the Card.

Give the people their money's worth. I'm a UFC fan as well and for those that are familar with the UFC, then you know how they do some of their PPV's in which they will give you like 3-4 PPV Quality Main Event Matches on One Card. Boxing really needs more of that! People shouldn't order PPV and watch a bunch of Showcase Fights and 1 Big Match Up Save that BS for Free TV not on PPV!

You nailed it Sicko. That is one of the biggest problems with boxing. Not only in regards to PPV but attending live shows as well. To expect people to pay good money and travel for one good fight with a shyte undercard borders on criminal. Feels like getting robbed at times. I get that nobody drags me to the fights at gunpoint but if the promoters want the sport to grow and thrive then more effort should be put in to undercards.
I Understand that there is only so much money to go around but they can certainly be more creative in putting these shows together. The promoters already have guys like me hooked, I go to as many shows within a few hours of me as possible but not everyone has the time and resources that I do. The idea is to watch or go to the fights not just "The fight".

I'd say on the cheap side, mostly. But, I'd imagine against someone of Loma's caliber, it would be a totally different story. Celebrity night, with Floyd co-promoting.
