bottom line here though is this...anyone associated with floyd is always having a predicted downfall

whether its the pbc or showtime...if ur associated with haymon, who is associated with floyd, your donwfall is always predicted....yet they are all still standing
I'm not sure, most fighters associated with Mayweather in particular seem to have middling careers at best. Haymon is a stable and safe option but he will not let you cover yourself in glory either.

What I don't get is.... it's abundantly clear that Haymon is only passing a handful of fights to them due to Fox, FS1, etc providing greater exposure, but isn't their yearly budget predetermined? Why are they not televising more cards from other promoters??

They used to be THE place to see fights that don't get televised in the US. Buy the rights to some fights from abroad if everyone else is locked in exclusive in the US.
I guess Al Haymon was smart enough to negotiate an exclusive partnership.

Yeah, I hope Showtime pulls the plug on boxing soon. They are going the same route as HBO with their fights. Showtime sucks now.

It should just be ESPN, DAZN and FOX. Showtime is crappy now like HBO was towards the end of their programming.

Boxing would be waaaaaay bigger if anyone in boxing knew a f#cking thing about what attracts people to events besides a presser fight or weigh in shoving match. Sh^t is f#cking embarrassing these ancient mfers keep trying to stick a square peg in a round hole.

Mfers need to make the sport more interactive in anyway possible.

Invite fans to pressers like for the big fights.

Fight mfers in their hometown to try to build franchise boxers (not just franchise bs title holders).

Speed up the mfing show. No need for 30 minutes between fights.

Quit f#cking talking so mfing much. I'm a boxing fan, not a talking fan. Give me the talking before the show starts.

Give me an after show & run your mouth all night if you must, but when boxing is on, boxing is mfing on so tell me about the action in the ring or stfu & get some mfers in the ring.

By any means necessary give us 1 mfing champion per weight division. Sh^t is confusing to keep up with who the champ is. You could minor in pro boxing bs in college its such a sh^tshow of rules & regulations that no one should have to learn to understand two guys hitting each other in the head.

Make competitive f#cking fights. There should be no such thing as a showcase fight. There should be no grooming of boxers. You make your pro debut vs a guy making his pro debut, if you are 7-20 you should be fighting a 6-19 type guy, if you are 10-0 you should be fighting a 9-1 type guy & if you are 20-0 you should be fighting a 20-0 type guy. Once you make it into the top 50 you should be fighting top 50 guys. Once you make it in the top 20 you should be fighting top 20 guys. Once you are top ten you should be fighting top ten guys. People love sports largely cuz of the competitive nature of sports. At least 50%+ of the fights I watch are as competitive as a death row inmate vs the electric chair.

Play around with ways to bring in female fans. Idk how the UFC does it, but as a combat sports fans who appreciates all disciplines there is no combat sport that has more female fans that I've found than MMA. Boxing needs to study what the UFC specifically is doing or what is bringing in those female fans & try to duplicate that in boxing.

Could probably list 50 other things that are mostly simple things that would be a net positive for boxing, but most of these mfers, minus Eddie who's a f#ckhead, but is more creative & daring then most people with skin in the game-although its more his daddy's skin I suppose, are acting like its still 1995.

This idiot "Make competitive f#cking fights. There should be no such thing as a showcase fight. There should be no grooming of boxers."

You don't know **** about boxing. This is a problem with boxing fans these days, casual as **** with no respect to the SPORT of boxing. Imagine somebody saying this about football players. Ridiculous. Boxing has problems but idiots like that have no clue what they are talking about.

Sorry but the Sport of Boxing is not popular enough to be on exclusively on Premium Channels or a APP. This sport needs to be on ESPN and Fox for more exposure to a new audience
Yea Boxing being on pay channels like HBO/Showtime in this era is ****** esp when you have sports networks around, it worked in the 80's because their was a void, but now nope.

Fan of both but I love Boxing More BUT UFC has done a masterful job with their Social Media Presence, tapping into that younger Demo. Boxing is so devices and the Top Fighters are not under one brand so they can't deliver big fights consistently like UFC. UFC offers PPV on youtube, Traditional PPV and on their APP. Boxing is so far behind!

Boxing needs a Upgrade all over.

The under one umbrella thing is legit & makes it harder for boxing, BUT you can still have all these various ent^ties doing their thing for their guys.

For example Showtime has been killing it on Snapchat lately. Where's DAZN? Where's ESPN? Where's Fox? Where's Fight Pass? Idk they might be around there, but Showtime is pushing & promoting their sh^t so people who don't usually get exposed to boxing are being exposed to it. I think Showtime's snapchat is better than UFC's snapchat lately in fact.

But yea boxing needs a face lift for sure. Thats why I ultimately like Eddie despite his manner faults. He's thinking more about the future of boxing then these other mfers who are just living in the past & probably wonder why they keep getting diminishing results overall. Make sh^t fun you dipsh^ts. It ain't that hard. And if you can't make it fun, maybe you just need to get outta the way & let some new blood come in & reinvent some sh^t & do what you no longer got the passion for.
