    Showtime Boxing is dead

Sorry Showtime, but there’s no reason to subscribe to your channel to watch boxing anymore.

2019 has to be the worst year in the history of Showtime boxing.

Here’s what they scheduled for us in 2019:

Pacquiao-Broner: a mismatch with an $80 PPV tag

Davis-Ruiz: a complete and utter mismatch that lasted less than 3 minutes.

Lara-Castano: the best fight on this list but a fight that should probably be on an undercard.

    Shields-Hammer: Women’s boxing

Easter-Barthelemy: the most boring main event of the year

Wilder-Brezeale: A complete mismatch that ended in the first round. Showtime originally wanted this on PPV but Wilder refused.

Charlo vs. Adams: A complete mismatch and showcase fight for Charlo. Adams wanted to survive and successfully did.

Davis vs. Nunez: A complete mismatch that lasted less than 6 minutes.

The upcoming fight scheduled is Shields vs Habazin, which is women’s boxing.

They also offer us shobox, a series full of undercard level fights to showcase prospects.

Just give up already Showtime, we can already tell you don’t care anymore.

        No $h!t, it’s showtime.

I’m not trying to compare the two, I’m just pointing out how showtime clearly doesn’t care about boxing anymore and they should just give up because it’s embarrassing.

You think this is what SHO wants? Lol, this is what they are getting from Haymon. He is deciding where the fights are going and is sending the bigger names to FOX. Now, who knows if this continues next year but that's what is happening now.

They can somewhat salvage the year by putting on Davis vs Farmer, GRJ vs LSC and Garcia vs Garcia to end the year.

DAZN is only new to this and its a relatively untapped market, I'd calm down speculating on their early financial losses since most businesses go through this to begin with. Showtime is just a dead medium. No need to shill for or against any TV networks but the quality of the main events at Showtime has been disgraceful.

PBC isn’t dead, they’re just on Fox instead of Showtime now.

                  yup

but we had to hear how they were dead or dying for so long...this just falls in line with the others

they may have had to overpay wilder for the last fight...and it probably hur their budget...but hes worth investing in..and theyve brought him so far

its only a matter of time before their investments in tank and wilder pay off if things keep going right

SHO is more than just PBC.
Claresa Shields fights there as does the ShoBox crew a lot of good up and comers.

I think their up coming schedule is Shields in August, Broner-Redkach in Oct, Wilder-Ortiz 2 in Nov and possibly Santa Cruz-Russell Jr. Santa Cruz in Sep I think without Russell and maybe in Dec if vs Russell.
