you're a moron for even asking such a question. Leonard beating top versions of duran, hearns, Hagler and benitez destroys any wins on pacs resume... And it's not even close.
Where I disagree with bread is regarding the versions of Cotto that pac fought as opposed to mayweather. Vs pac, Cotto was only 2 fights removed from being beaten with plaster, was fighting without his long time trainer for the first time, essentially trained himself, and was at a catch weight of 145. Mayweather fought Cotto at 154,comimg off a career win and was trained by a top trainer.
again, good catch..... EXACTLY what I thought when I read that
Mayweather fans did not criticize that win because Cotto was old, I never heard anyone suggest that once..... they criticized that win because Cotto was drained, and at the lowest point in his career
All these people saying his body of work better, wtf, manny the catch weight champion, mayaether fought canelo, and coto at their weight, and the eye test, he lost every rnd against Floyd, has been tweety birded several times, he only won the fight he knocked Marquez down 3 times in the first rnd, didn't win another rnd against Marquez in 4 fights, so yall like that Filipino so much, you cant listen to commentary, when he miss all those bull**** pitty pat ass punches, they act like he is landing that ****, he is no where close to the top of welterweights, bread for you even saying that, you should stop blogging, because your brain in backwards

holy s***, did we just agree on something?? ? Probably because it doesn't concern Canelo. Lol. But yeah, when it comes to coming opponents, it should be universally understood that mayweather faced better versions than what pac did. That's the case with Cotto, Oscar, and Hatton. Marquez is the only one that could be debated.
PAC fought at 150 CATCHWEIGHT for the 154 title. He drained MARGACHEATER down to 150. That belt is bogus!! PAC also loss at least 6 fights while being knocked out 3x. Let's stop putting him so close to MAYWEATHER. Its disrespectful!!
Drained to 150?! Margarito is a career welterweight. He only fought a few fights at the end of his career at 54
How can Breadman say that Floyd Mayweather gets the edge in common opponents??? De La Hoya, Cotto, Hatton. Pacquiao beat them all worse than Mayweather. The only edge Floyd has is bringing JMM up two weight classes (and he Floyd STILL came in heavy) and winning a snooze fest decision (like most of his "fights").
That's pretty easy. 1. Against PAC,DELA HATER was drained to 147 instead of his comfortable weight of 154 in which FLOYD had already beaten him.
2. COTTO fought FLOYD at 154 and was much stronger. PAC drained him to 145.
3. FLOYD had already knocked out HATTON b4 PAC beat him.
4. Although CANELO agreed to fight at 152,he still outweighed FLOYD by 15 lbs fight night.
FLOYD out boxed and rarely got hit by these guys. There connect % was way down.

Correct. Just like DELA HATER, MARGACHEATER fought his last fights at 154 because he could no longer make 147 so he moved up. That was why PAC made him CATCHWEIGHT back down to 150. Its bogus that PAC actually won a 154 title. Got it?
This happens a lot, but there seems to be differing sets of criteria for ATG being bandied about that is leading to disagreement. Some appear to be simply be using ‘compiled accomplishments’ which awards longevity; and thus moves a fighter like pacquiao up the rankings. Most though seem to be focusing on a hybrid of total accomplishments combined with peak accomplishments and ability. Giving more credit of greatness to how good a fighter was at his best. I prefer the latter, but it is somewhat of an apples to oranges thing going on
I'm a big Manny fan. And any hater has problems. Saturday was epic and it inspired me. But what the h@ll is going on when no credit is given to a guy who's undefeated and was hardly hit in his entire career. That feat is astounding and no fighter has done that. Does that count at all. How can that be ignored? Let be objective and fair here regarding Mayweather.
