Wilder fans are riding a wave of gratification since the Joshua loss (to somebody else) and they feel the wave will eventually break in the rematch when Joshua gets his belts back and you dont want this wave to end. Youd rather yet another American PBC fighter going on a duck run.

I’ve literally rooted against Deontay Wilder in every fight he’s had.

I wanted Fury to beat him and scored the fight 116-110 for Fury.

I wanted Ortiz to beat him and I gave Ortiz every round he wasn’t knocked down in.

I just think it’s dumb for Ruiz to go to England where the ref and judges will do anything to make sure he loses. Especially after Dillian Whyte was allowed to fight after failing a drug test, was allowed to pick whatever gloves he wanted at the last second and was allowed to skip hand wrap inspection.

Yep vacate 3 belts and give up a huge payday to fight for 1 belt in a fight that you might never get, for much less money if you do.

No no no, you forgot to include: get sued & an injuction so you can't take the fight anyway and have to pay millions in lost earnings to the guy who you were contracted to fight.

See it makes much more sense when you include that.
