I believe that Porter can beat spence by taking it to the body and mauling if he can get his conditioning to run full speed all 12 rounds. Hopefully his cardio is superb from training for two months. However, if he were to beat Porter, I don’t think he’d be considered the #1 WW. That honor would bypass him straight to Pacquiao or Crawford.

Well said! Spence has put on a considerable amount of weight. He speaks as if he’s overlooking Shawn in fact he said when he wins he plans to call out Canelo. With Thurman out of the equation I think Spence suspects that Pacquiao’s team will opt not to face him, so he’s now speaking favorably about a match with either Crawford or Canelo. Spence needs a legacy defining fights!

Very much this. Porter is going to charge into left hooks and uppercuts when he tries his patented head punches. I think Spence has been waiting for somebody like Porter who likes to FIGHT so he can put it on him. This will be an ugly fight. Porter has tons of heart, which will be bad for him this fight. We'll see how much his father loves him when he stops the fight. He's going to take a beating until then.
