You're wrong. When Don King and Bob Arum were at their peak, they regularly did business with one another. Seeing Top Rank fighters on King vision and vice versa was common back in the 90's. Since Al Cancer Haymon came along it's been a power struggle where Boxing fans are getting ****ed. The days of PPV events with 3 and 4 World Title fights are done and cherry picking by all promoters is at an all time high.

Theres one difference with the Spence Golovkin parallel though. Golovkin was old, and he's getting slower with every appearance. Brook is a decent puncher so Spences chin looks ok, but he is pretty straightforward so Crawford could outbox him. He'd be mad to turn down Pac though, and he could lose that fight, because hes feet are pretty slow.I wouldn't be amazed if Pac outpointed him.

Your point about Golovkin is true. Even in his prime he had way more mileage on him than Spence because of his amateur run.

I think Pac at this age and mileage in his career hit his ceiling with Thurman. It was the first time I have ever seen him visibly fatigued in a fight and not throwing punches (round 9 I believe). He also stopped moving his head and started taking too many flush shots. I didn't like see him taking those from Thurman, Spence would be worse.

I think he'd look good for 5 or 6rounds til that same fatigue sets in due to his age, the pace he would need to fight at & Spences body punching. I don't think Spence would stop him but hed have the youth and strength to beat him on points with his work rate. I'd rather he cash out in Saudi Arabia & flatten Khan & retire on a high note.

I get what you're saying. IMO it just seems to me Spence is the best of the current top guys.


I favor Spence over Crawford as I think those are 1 and 2 right now.
