I thought so too. It could of been a draw at worse but Keith said he lost. Either he did feel that way or he just didn't want to be salty. Either way it was a great fight.

Nah, Manny should retire. He's taking too much punishment.

You think you slick..You far from the truth cuz there is hardly anyone backing him up except for the real fans which are limited but there are plenty of fakes ass cornballs like you around talking that dumb shet.

I'd say 300 to 350k... maybe 400k ppvs. PPV in general is taking a beating. There are so many non-ppv boxing matchess and MMA fights, people arent plunking down the money like they used to. Illegal streaming is out of control and a lot of these PPV fights are on Youtube early the next morning before they are zapped off of there. The Paulie Maginalli Artem Lobov bare knuckle fight had a lot of buzz and press (know it is still a fringe discipline), it did 20k in buys. 20K!! A Mayweather Pac Rematch would crush PPVs now though. And it would have done terrible 3 years ago. Timing is everything with Pac's late win streak... the buzz is firmly back. You know May has got to be tempted at close to $300MM in one night, and would basically match Canelo's "biggest sports contract" in history...which is for multiple fights.

I think if Manny can’t get the Mayweather fight, he should retire with the lasting image of him beating a young Thurman. Fighting on against the likes of Garcia or Khan or Porter or even a rematch with Thurman doesn’t enhance his legacy. And who wants to see him get seriously hurt or stopped against Spence or Crawford. I don’t want to see that.

I don’t want that image like I had when one of my favorite fighters of all time, Roy Jones Jr, got knocked out against Tarver and Glen Johnson back to back. Get that huge money fight with Floyd or retire. Unless his goal is to fight on against lessor opponents to help the people in the Philippines financially.

Boxing is less popular in America yet without any economical sense boxing pay per view prices have gone up in the past few years. Considering how easy it is to illegally stream fights the high costs of ppv's are pushing people to go the illegal route to watch boxing.
$75 is out of conrtrol. Get this... I brought my tablet to a pub, wasn't sure if I could bring myself to pull the trigger on the fight. Got lubricated, inhibitions down and bought the fight. Propped up the tablet on the bar against the lime and lemons holder and 4 dudes huddled and watched, bought me a few rounds. It was a lady interest killer though. Went home lonely Sat night and $75 light in the wallet. Hah.

All kidding aside, they could totally market Pac/McGregor into a massive MASSIVE money fight. Conor could carry that promotion and say he would squash tiny Pac like a g****. The MMA fans would flock. Only problem with the calculus is Manny would get pissed and beat the living snot out of Conor on fight night and not carry him like Mayweather did and Conor knows this. Conor knew May wasn't going to blow him out right away and tic off the paying fans. Pac, Canelo, GGG and all other top fighters would just smoke him because they are fighters first, not marketers like Conor and Floyd are.

The sport is better off without Floyd. I saw almost all of Floyd's PPV's from Cotto onwards and there was rarely a memorable moment let alone a good fight (except for the Maidana fights).

I give him credit for being one of the greatest of our generation but definitely do not miss that guy.
