Floyd is also great at putting up posters that say MP Promotions on it! Haymon and Floyd love Manny so much that they let their employee get paid more than them, about half of all of the profits gained!
Floyd is TBE! He paid for Manny's flights, hotels, ******** habit, and even made him a bologna sandwhich with help from his personal chef!

"His 12-round, unanimous-decision loss to Floyd Mayweather in May 2015 generated a boxing record of $72,198,500 in ticket revenue."
This is why they can't keep Floyd's name out of their mouths! They can't generate that check without him! Just compare Pac vs. Thurman to Mayweather vs. McGregor:
September 6, 2017:
"The junior middleweight fight, the last of Mayweather's storied career, generated a live gate of $55,414,865.79, according to figures released on Wednesday by the Nevada State Athletic Commission...
Mayweather-McGregor is comfortably ahead of the No. 3 all-time gate: $20,003,150 from 16,146 tickets for Mayweather's 2013 junior middleweight unification victory against Canelo Alvarez, also at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Mayweather fights comprise five of the top six gates in Nevada history."

PBC dos not know how to market and promote fights (or its fighters) is one of the reasons this fight probably had low ppv sales. Also, Paq is way past his prime so interest in seeing him fight is not nearly as much as when he was younger. And finally, the ridiculous cost of the ppv which was $75. Boxing is less popular in America yet without any economical sense boxing pay per view prices have gone up in the past few years. Considering how easy it is to illegally stream fights the high costs of ppv's are pushing people to go the illegal route to watch boxing.Last edited by jdp28tx; 07-26-2019, 05:51 AM.
