It was something to do with his blood pressure being high

NEW YORK – Luis Ortiz was expected Saturday night to make it to the ring for his shot at WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. That wasn’t quite a certainty

Tyson Fury later claimed he heard that Ortiz almost wasn't cleared to fight on the night because he wasn't well enough. Admittedly Fury talks a load of nonsense though...

But yeah. That excuse is what bothered me. I was a boxer in the past and I knew many boxers and even the least superstitious wouldn’t want anyone touching his ****.
Beyond the implications on Whyte, I have to wonder how disorganized the UK commission is that this could happen. Because they're either corrupt or disorganized. Everyone must admit it's one or the other, possibly both. There's no way to excuse them in this matter.

In this video, at 38:14 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmAjFBr0IXY Eddie Hearn states "It's happened before (substituting gloves) when a fighter can't get a glove on or something has happened to a glove overnight".

Dillian Whyte said that his gloves were given to Dan Azeez by mistake.

Hearn is saying that Whyte's gloves somehow shrunk overnight and would not fit.

        WTK???

So you've never seen fight cards where they go back to the dressing room and see fighters doing it? You mustn't watch much boxing then.

I ask for you to give me answers about the corruption in New Zealand and with Parker but you either avoid or threaten to put me on ignore? Hahahahahahaha. Put me on ignore then you coward.

Add in the drug testing controversy and how it was handled makes the circumstances surrounding this fight su****ious.
The commission would have inspected the gloves and approved them.

Rivas and his team never asked to see the gloves after the fight. They only asked to see them before the fight.

But then the commission would have had to have been involved in all of this. Why would they do something like this for Dillian Whyte? It doesn't make any sense. The commission would have checked those gloves out and assured they were legit. They could be sued and shut down otherwise.

Haha. You're a good little b1tch really aren't you? You're also as cowardly as Parker is too.

Keep that cheating in check, you hear me? Corruption isn't a good quality to have. Neither is cowardice in avoiding the discussion of said cheating and corruption.

The British Boxing Commission is extremely corrupt to allow this to occur.
