Was the test administered 3 days before and the results came back sometime later?
I just cannot believe the BBBoC would receive a positive test result 3 days prior, notify the failed fighter and allow the fight to continue without notifying the opponent. I can't believe they would let the contest take place at all.

They would know this is going to come out, how could they possible justify it, its insanity.

BBBoC: You've currently got a banned drug in your system, we're going to ban you from fighting, after this fight you have in a couple days, which we will allow you to fight in, while you actually have the banned drug in your system.

I can actually understand notifying the athelete first and not the opponant because of appeals process etc, allowing the fight to go on is inexplicable in a combat sport, heads should roll if that is the case. I just can't imagine UKAD could allow it.

If it's cannabis then it is not an "enhancer" except when you listen to music or go to the movies!

UKAD is a ****ing joke. How can you allow a fight to continue and not even inform the other team that this person tested positive for NUMEROUS PEDS?!?! Are we intentionally trying to kill people in the ring?

Maybe human growth hormones. His gut was hanging over his belt, but he recovered from the KD and finished well. That is not like him. Normally he doesn't look good after KDs and he usually finishes drained, running on empty. I was more than a little surprised when he won the 12th round vs Rivas after getting KD.

Banned substance maybe weed. It doesn't enhance anything and that could have been a reason they let the fight on. Weed should be decriminalized to begin with and if that's the case I wouldn't hold it against Whyte. The show must go on.

Why didn't VADA catch him. THey were to the more stringent fight testing too not just CBP.

I believe Vada was doing the out of competition testing & ukad was doing the actual testing because in the UK the boxing organizations have stated on numerous occasions that they don't want to step on toes or make ukad redundant so whenever a vada fighter is also a UKAD fighter or fighting in the UK then ukad handles the testing afaik. I have a few examples to cite such as varcacel the president of WBO saying along these lines as justification for wbo not mandating vada. Then you have the examples of Fury literally getting away with being caught with a rare roid because UKAD was literally scared he would sue which would bankrupt them Completely because UKADs entire budget is sooo small a 1 mil judgement against them would completely bankrupt them

Ukad is a complete travesty of a anti doping agency that operates on a shoestring budget funded by taxpayers & receiving zero from fighters like vada does when a fighter is on vada 365 or when cbp pays them
