Must be more to this story than has been reported so far.
Was the test administered 3 days before and the results came back sometime later?
I just cannot believe the BBBoC would receive a positive test result 3 days prior, notify the failed fighter and allow the fight to continue without notifying the opponent. I can't believe they would let the contest take place at all.

They would know this is going to come out, how could they possible justify it, its insanity.

I can actually understand notifying the athelete first and not the opponant because of appeals process etc, allowing the fight to go on is inexplicable in a combat sport, heads should roll if that is the case. I just can't imagine UKAD could allow it.

The US is the most corrupt country in the world. They don't even do proper urine tests pre-fit and USADA covered up for Floyd Mayweather throughout his career.

And isn't the NY commission the same ****house that allowed an AJ who wasn't medically fit go into a fight he wasn't fit to fight in? Don't think people out here in the know don't know what happened pre-fight even if they're keeping mute about it. Look at the number of boxers that stay getting killed in boxing or permanently damaged in the US.

So reading the article, Hearn and everyone KNEW about the positive test but Oscar Rivas' team didn't. That is disgusting.

This is the take-away from the article. Bad enough the local commision allowed the fight to continue after the A sample failed, but to not inform the other camp is borderline criminal.

Why didn't VADA catch him. THey were to the more stringent fight testing too not just CBP.
