I think Valdez vacates and goes up because ESPN talking heads have been suggesting he is having a tough time making 126.

Or else, Valdez could bring his girlfriend to get some parking lot action and get more motivated.

Valdez is on the verge of vacating. WBO just making sure the belt stays with a TR fighter like they do in every weight class.

I like it. I think it happens. I've been critical of Shakur, but I think Oscar is a favorable style for him as long as he stays outta a war with him

              This is a great fight.

There you have it, looks like he will vacate unless he can get the Warrington unification bout.

We'll see what Valdez does next because many stories of him wanting to move up to 130 and struggling to make 126. He's got a built in excuse to swerve Stevenson which is a high risk low reward fight right now. WBO allows a champion to move up and if he wants become mandatory at the new weight. WBO already ordered Herring the 130 champ to fight Roach as his mandatory next. But after that fight if Valdez wants he can get a direct shot at the winner by notifying the WBO. The other champion at 130 that is under Top Rank is Berchelt. Valdez could move up to 130 and get a shot at Berchelt or wait and get a shot at Herring/Roach.

I like Shakur but no way he gets a piece of Valdez at this weight!

Valdez is looking for unifications not anymore unheralded undefeated or upcoming prospect fighters!

Shakur will be a champion before the end of this year though or early next year!

Anyways, Shakur would be the slight favorite in this fight due to his style, size and speed!

No more running Valdez. Time to pay the piper. If you can stay to fight Frampton then you can fight Stevenson. No crying about weigh neither.
