As for Hearn's budget? I don't know if it has been slashed or not, but do know he isn't using anywhere near the supposed 125M per year that he has. I mean which big money show has he put on minus Joshua/Ruiz? And be co-promoter with GBP on Canelo vs Jacobs?
Hearn and Skipper knew each other well since before DAZN launched in the US and Eddie joined up with them. The fact that Hearn linked up with DAZN before Skipper became CEO is neither here nor there. They each knew the other was going to be working for DAZN before either of them actually started doing so.

Clearly, they did that because they wanted and expected them to fight each other on their app.

        hard luck for them

I wanted to fk Gisele Bundchen

there is nothing in Canelo's contract that binds him to Golovkin, and..... Canelo selects his own opponents

Canelo will probably walk, and make fights with Smith/Kovalev

You to do nothing at this forum now but post lies and misinformation about DAZN and Hearn.
Skipper is Hearn's boss. They brought Skipper in to run the whole show and to get things under control because DAZN quickly found out Eddie sold them a dream when he wasn't able to deliver any of the big names he told them he could. Skipper brought in Canelo & GGG. And Hearn's budget was cut.

Yea and without Canelo, DAZN fails and will no longer be broadcasting boxing.

              Goodluck with that

You said Skipper came because Hearn was there. That makes no sense at all. You think Skipper gives one iota about Hearn? He would have been there regardless.

Skipper may have known Hearn, but doubt there was much to there relationship. Skipper got the gig because he is damn good at what he does. He is a flat out deal closer.

Hearn and Skipper go back a long way, and each knew the other was going to be joining DAZN before either of them actually did so.

Skipper didn't cut "Hearn's budget", because it was never "Hearn's budget" in the first place. It was DAZN's budget to be spent on funding boxing shows in the US. It was never intended to be for the exclusive use of Hearn and Matchroom USA.

Would DAZN have even wanted Skipper as CEO if they hadn't needed somebody to work closely with Hearn in funding, promoting and streaming boxing shows in the US, Italy, Germany, and wherever else they intend launching in the future?

Neither of us knows the answer to that question. But the fact is, Hearn and Skipper had a good personal and business relationship before either of them joined DAZN, and that relationship is a benefit to DAZN.

DAZN vs Canelo, could start to look a little bit like Pac vs Marquez

things will just get worse for DAZN from here on

DAZN should let it go, and forget about their rematch with Marquez..... ooops, I mean..... Canelo

I think the fat red kid will walk if they keep ****ing him around

I hope he does, DAZN appear to be second-rate and short-sighted

keeping the REAL superstar happy, considering the fact that he is willing to make HUGE fights with Smith/Kovalev, and considering the fact that he will almost certainly win the trilogy with Golovkin when it happens eventually..... has to be more important than protecting a guy who is not willing to fight a threat

the solution is simple, and it is better for boxing, and better for the fans..... than Canelo leaving DAZN because he is disgruntled with the way they treat him while they protect Golovkin..... DAZN need to make Golovkin/Andrade, and then STFU while Canelo negotiates with Hypekin..... just like Canelo said, and just like is no-brainer common-sense

it is HIGHLY amusing that NONE of Golovkin's fanbase support Golovkin fighting Andrade or Charlo..... any real fan could clearly see that is the best solution for Golovkin, it would somewhat legitimize him among the piles of criticism, and it would go a HUGE way toward making the trilogy happen
