I'm sure Golden Boy will have no problems signing up for third fight, as long as it's a year or 18 months from now. Or hell, maybe they'll celebrate his 40th birthday.

Dude's running like a scared b1tch after 2 gift decisions in which he "won" by 1 round.

Their reasons are dumb as well. 'I don't want to fight him because he called me a PED user'. Is it... because he tested positive for PEDs? Pathetic.

Mannix is a GGG fanboy. You should hear his ridiculous podcast on the fallout of Canelo not fighting GGG in September. The guy was not acting like a unbiased reporter. The guy actually said it was Golden Boy's responsibility to serve up Munguia to GGG just because Canelo won't fight GGG in September.

He is so hypocritical, in practically the same sentence he said Munguia should not be allowed to fight Canelo because it would be too easy, but then he says that GGG deserves to fight in Sept against Munguia. Another reason this is ridiculous is because Canelo vs Munguia would sell more tickets and subs than Munguia vs Triple Tune-Up.

Golden Boy is not Triple Tune-Up's promoter and they have 0 responsibility when it comes to finding GGG opponents. The podcast made me sick how one-sided this guy is.

He also said that DAZN is keeping Golden Boy in business and Golden Boy should do whatever DAZN wants. When in reality without Golden Boy DAZN would not have regular boxing cards on its service and w/o Canelo and Golden Boy's regular cards there would be no reason to subscribe to DAZN.

DAZN should let it go, and forget about their rematch with Marquez..... ooops, I mean..... Canelo

I think the fat red kid will walk if they keep ****ing him around

I hope he does, DAZN appear to be second-rate and short-sighted

keeping the REAL superstar happy, considering the fact that he is willing to make HUGE fights with Smith/Kovalev, and considering the fact that he will almost certainly win the trilogy with Golovkin when it happens eventually..... has to be more important than protecting a guy who is not willing to fight a threat

the solution is simple, and it is better for boxing, and better for the fans..... than Canelo leaving DAZN because he is disgruntled with the way they treat him while they protect Golovkin..... DAZN need to make Golovkin/Andrade, and then STFU while Canelo negotiates with Hypekin..... just like Canelo said, and just like is no-brainer common-sense

it is HIGHLY amusing that NONE of Golovkin's fanbase support Golovkin fighting Andrade or Charlo..... any real fan could clearly see that is the best solution for Golovkin, it would somewhat legitimize him among the piles of criticism, and it would go a HUGE way toward making the trilogy happen

GGG fans are more about hating Canelo than liking GGG.
It is as if DAZN know nothing about boxing by thinking Canelo vs GGG is the only fight to be made and thinking it is still a superfight when in fact the 2nd fight sold less ppv's than the first.

There are plenty of big fights that Canelo could make that are just as much or more interesting than GGG again. It is DAZN's job to build up those kinda fights. Like Smith or their own Andrade. I am sure Top Rank would even let Zorro go over to DAZN and make a huge fight with Canelo. GGG is not the only game in town and he is not the answer to DAZN becoming a must subscribe to service. Since GGG will not fight anyone the public would be interested in then he is useless and a waste of money to DAZN.

It's disgusting the double standard DAZN has regarding Canelo and GGG. Canelo has to fight the best, yet GGG only has to fight bums. Canelo vs Munguia is not allowed by DAZN because they claim Munguia is too green and not good enough yet DAZN will ok Munguia vs GGG in a heartbeat. Even though Canelo vs Munguia makes more sense and more money than GGG vs Munguia. A complete double standard.

The American press always hated having a Mexican or Mexican American as being the biggest superstar in boxing. They were ok with guys like Morales and Barerra, because they were not superstars. Just look how badly the American press treated Chavez and then De La Hoya, now its Canelo's turn to be disrespected and treated like sh** by the American press.

              Who blinks first?
This is nonsense. No network has refused to let their signed fighter fight their mandatory. They may not always air it, but they allow their contracted fighter to go and fight somewhere else if its not a fight they want to broadcast. This has been long established practice by the networks. No network has been the reason why a fighter was stripped of their title. DAZN is acting like an amateur small business. Do they think getting Canelo stripped will endure them to Canelo, he might just then sue to get out of his contract if DAZN caused him to get stripped.

It's a good sign that Alvarez will fight his mandatory. Let's hope it happens.
As far as GGG goes, I think most fans are tired of all the sh/t that has gone on between these two fighters.
From Alvarez calling him out in the ring, vacating the title, the PED violation, the Vanes fight. WTF!
Nothing's as bad as the May-Pac bs but this is getting there.
Finally Canelo's reluctance to fight a legacy fight with Golovkin might fly with his hard core followers, but it just doesn't look good to most fans.

It is proven without Canelo, they REALLY struggle. Dude accounts for majority of the subscribers. So what does DAZN do if he sits out a year and they lose their subscribers? Then what? I mean as expected, they are losing a lot of money in the early going....But imagine if they lose at least half their subscriber base? Then what?
They’re saving 300 million in the meantime, canelo can’t fight, might be good to have the diva out of boxing for a year or two, he signed the contract, he has to fulfil the contract, 9 fights to go, if he annoys danz enough they could make it very hard in terms of opponents
