I wouldn't favor Munguia in either of those fights, but he's got some level of upset potential in both I feel like cuz Andrade is massively overrated & GGG is old as f#ck.
I personally think Andrade embarrasses the crap out of Munguia.

GGG vs Munguia will at least be fun......For as long as it lasts and will be a total mismatch when it is all said and done.

Disagree though, Canelo vs Munguia would do very good numbers for DAZN. According to Mannix, Munguia draws some of the highest viewership on DAZN. Now, that may not be saying much considering they just have a few big name fighters, but it was stated nonetheless lol.

Canelo is stubborn and has all the leverage it's DAZN who has already backed down and are comprising not Canelo. This is exactly what happened with the WBC. He made a point took a stand and trashed their belt and went on to still make the fight 1 year later on his terms and without the WBC getting a dime for him. WBC begged kissed azz and it took years for them to get back in his good graces and they just created a franchise title before they even thought about ever again telling canelo what to do and who to fight. DAZN can't opperate in the US without Canelo and his subscribers he brings. Even if they had other content to get by it would still be ****** you don't bring canelo in and then dictate shyt to him. You let him do his thing and reap the rewards. But it's insanely ****** when you have no other content and he is keeping you a float to butt heads with him it ALREADY cost them a Sept date now they caved and are scrambling to stop the bleeding and not have canelo sit out until Dec with a big finger up to DAZN.

DAZN are bunch of amateurs. they really want to piss off their #1 attraction just to accommodate a BUM like gilrlovkin who just faced the #389 ranked middleweight Egg Rolls

        man FCK DAZN!!

BUMLOVKING does not deserve a third fight. tell the PUNK to EARN IT.

Im not seeing any dazn leverage here tbh. What are they going to do if Canelo just keeps saying no? They have alot of money invested into a depreciated asset in AJ all Canelo has to is keep flipping them the bird.

I mean ideally, DAZN would have LOVED to get Canelo/GGG III in September and Wilder/Joshua in November or December. And they will get neither and won't even get Joshua in prime time if he fights in Cardiff. So I understand why they are getting frustrated. If they had those two fights on their network, they would have been doing VERY well and could have been approaching 2 million subscribers by years end.

However, they have to be careful ticking off Canelo. He is their meal ticket right now and while DAZN should have a say in his opponents, they shouldn't be putting these types of demands on him. We have seen his history, and he tends to fight damn near anyone. Trust the process.....
Not only that - I am cancelling my sub since theres no September fight

I'll keep my subscription because I still like it with or without Canelo. But no doubt quite a few will follow your line of thinking. And just imagine if Canelo says he's not fighting for the rest of the year and won't fight at all if DAZN doesn't stop forcing him to fight certain fights? How many subscribers do they lose then? It would be an unmitigated disaster (Stephen A Smith voice)!!!!

DAZN trying to do the Cash Cow dirty.
It’s not his problem they promised BBB side a Canelo fight to keep him away from Arum and Hearn.
Canelo should just fake an injury and take a year off. DAZN would be in big trouble.

Depends on what was signed in the DAZN deal.

Not sure I've seen Andrade embarrass the crap outta anyone yet so that might actually be something about Andrade that impresses me about him.

I'm not saying it wouldn't do okay. Like any Canelo fight. But if Munguia gots a legit body on his resume it does waaaaaaaay better is what I'm saying. If he were to fight Munguia next or after he loss to Andrade or GGG its the same. If Munguia had a W over Andrade or GGG its HUGE.

Thats why I'm saying its worth the risk of Munguia losing his L to make a huge fight with Canelo as big as possible.

I mean obviously they weren't able to force him to fight GGG in September.

Again, they should absolutely have some say in what he does. But they shouldn't be disapproving opponents for him and then approving them for GGG....If that is indeed what is happening with Munguia.
