DAZN Forcing Canelo to Commit to GGG Trilogy if he Wants to Fight Derevyanchenko

    This shall be interesting.

DAZN trying to flex its muscles on Canelo and are trying to call the shots. You want Derevyanchenko? Fine, but HAVE to fight GGG next.

    Who blinks first?

I think he knows he has to fight GGG, you not going to sign that sort of contract for that sort of money without DAZN having an involvement in that aspect, why did you think Wilder was adviced against signing that DAZN deal? He would have to fight Joshua/Whyte etc Boxers that isn’t within the control of PBC only.

Canelo already made them blink. What are they going to do if he doesn't and he cancels the December fight?

And if he doesn't fight GGG then what? Canelo means more than DAZN than any other sport/fighter they have. I mean there are articles out showing the impact he has on DAZN.

I mean ideally, DAZN would have LOVED to get Canelo/GGG III in September and Wilder/Joshua in November or December. And they will get neither and won't even get Joshua in prime time if he fights in Cardiff. So I understand why they are getting frustrated. If they had those two fights on their network, they would have been doing VERY well and could have been approaching 2 million subscribers by years end.

However, they have to be careful ticking off Canelo. He is their meal ticket right now and while DAZN should have a say in his opponents, they shouldn't be putting these types of demands on him. We have seen his history, and he tends to fight damn near anyone. Trust the process.....

Mannix already stated months ago that Canelo has no other options he has to fight GGG in sept. Then he reported weeks ago that DAZN is telling Canelo ok we'll allow you to fight Kovalev who you are saying you want to fight but if Kovalev deal falls apart you have to fight GGG in sept. Now they saying well ok you shyt on us by refusing to fight at all in sept and told us you will sit until Dec. How about we let you fight Dervy and you pinky promise that you will fight GGG next?

But idiots think DAZN is flexing their muscles? Sounds like to me Canelo is doing what he wants then told them I choose who I want to fight and if you don't like it I am putting you on time out until Dec which is a disaster financially for them going that long between May without a Canelo fight to retain subscribers. So now they went from GGG your only option to ok Kovalev but if not him has to be GGG. To now oh phuk we can't wait until Dec and bleed subscribers we give in and now it's Kovalev, Dervy and please just fight pinky promise GGG next year. LMAO

Canelo wants to fight. Him not fighting costs him money. DAZN doesn’t pay a penny if he doesn’t fight

I mean didn’t Showtime do the same to Floyd during his 6 fight deal? I’m pretty sure I remember reading reports they wanted him in big fights so they can make money on their investment with him. He couldn’t keep fighting guys on the Robert Guerrero level.
