Dadashev didn't want to be an electrician, they can get electrocuted. He didn't want to be a pilot, they can crash. He didn't want to be a miner, they can get buried alive. He didn't want to be a cop, they can get shot. He wanted to box. When your time is up, you'll run to meet it. RIP.

this is why is cringey when fighters say "im ready to die in the ring"

but a couple of things here not once during that fight i thought it should've been stopped. dadashev was losing but constantly punching back.

but of course its easy to play monday morning quarterback.

the thing is there is no way to determine when a boxers brain starts to bleed. which round ? who df knows.

      RIP kid

RIP brave one.Terribly saddened to hear this. When you watch a fight live and this is the consequence, it really makes you think. Just awful.

Something weird is I've been to live boxing where they have a stretcher right by the ring. Here it seemed like they took forever to get him on a stretcher and it looked like it came from somewhere else. Seems it should've been standard to put him on a stretcher right away when he couldn't walk by himself when he tried to leave the ring

Terrible news. This is a bloody sport, you have to respect all the fighters.

                    • Sad, to say the least. We tend to forget these guys put their bodies on the line to entertain us and provide for their families.

One thing that needs to go in the sport of boxing is "blood & guts" trainers, not just the fighters. Some trainers give their guys too much of a fighting chance and don't know when to throw in the towel.

Prayers go out to Dadashev's family. I had never heard of him til I saw him fight last Friday, and unfortunately, that's gonna be my last time seeing him fight.

                      This is beyond tragic, smh.
