That's why Im not blaming, but it's not enough to just say "so sad RIP." This happened for a specific reason, because it was a size mismatch in the fight at the very least, if not also other **** going on. They both weighed in at the same weight at the weigh in, but in the ring where it matters, there was a massive size difference. That's not what fans want to see, we want to see fair fights, and it's not fair to the boxers who sign up to fight guys their size but end up fighting guys 2-3 weight classes bigger. That's what Im saying.
And yes I agree, Matias seemed like a humble good kid. If he wasn't on PEDs, then he has zero blame in this. The weight thing is not his fault at all.

Prayers to his family!!! As much as I love boxing, I hate when this happens. That is why the casual boxing fans are a joke when they say one guy is ducking another guy or afraid to fight someone or they questions their heart or man hood. EVERY fighter that decides to pursue a career in boxing they are risking their life inside the ring. In my book, ALL of them have A LOT of heart, ALL of them show a tremendous amount of courage and balls. And the people who challenge any of their manhood and toughness don’t have the courage to get inside the ring themselves and take on all the inherent risk and danger involved. I joke sometimes about some fighters but I respect all of them deep down inside. I’ve been in a few fights and punched to the head and body. I can’t imagine doing that for multiple 3 minute rounds let alone an entire career. RIP courageous warrior!!! I TRULY, hope your family finds peace!!!

What a terrible irony.
Reporters were given no word on his condition. The doctors said their news could ONLY come from the boxer's family, and it was up to the family to make a statement.
His wife had to fly in from overseas, and that with flight arrangements and all, she wouldn't be able to arrive at the hospital till Tuesday. Today.
Did she arrive in time to even say goodbye when he was on life support?
Hopefully there will be a GoFundMe page for her and her child.
