I'd roll with Pacquiao because I'd love to see him win that fight. I think Spence is too capable of a high volume body attack though. Pacquiao has the heavyweight calves and tree trunk legs, but he doesn't have a big mans torso. H3ll, I'd go as far to say his upper body is built smaller than most lightweights.
Just remember this. If a 38 year old Floyd was able to shut down exchanges enough to win a UD than that is exactly what Spence is more than capable of doing. Just look at the Mikey fight.
But then again.. Pac's a southpaw. Pac also eats southpaws alive. David Diaz, Ledwaba? Sure he is far past that level of prime but one has to wonder what will happen if Spence cant keep him at bayComment

When you think about it. Spence couldn't even hurt Mikey with all those one sided beating Mikey took. Spence punches might be over rated. I think Spence is a volume puncher not really a one punch KO boxer. That tells you Pac can do more in that fight. Not saying Pac will win, but obviously Pac can win it.
Conversely, Manny will engage and take risks. This sets him up for counters. He no longer has the legs to use movement for the entire fight. If he lays on the ropes like he did against Thurman, Spence will bust him up to the body and fold him in half before round 5. Spence will use that stiff jab to set up everything else. It would be brutal.Comment

I feel like a prime PBF-era Mayweather would have done much more against Garcia than Spence did.Comment

Yea he should just retire in a high note. I really think he could get hurt even in a rematch or a fight against a Garcia and Spence.Comment

Hahahahaha! Pac knocked Thurman down in the 1st round and almost crippled him with that liver shot in round 10 and his face was a mess. Didn’t you hear Thurman saying he tried his best but Pacquiao still beat him because of his speed, power and experience?Comment

Garcia was boxing to survive. It's hard to touch someone with his skill level and that mentality.

On a serious note Pac excels against southpaws. Pac is far more dangerous and effective against them. When Morales turned southpaw in rd 12 he got battered. The thing is, here's another rare chance for Pac to let loose his offense. But does he have the tank to throw that kind of volume anymore? No. Regardless Pac is the most devastating puncher in the division. Still. If he hits you, he hurts you.
Spence will take a beating no doubt before he can, that's a big if, put Manny away. His biggest offensive strength is a repetitive body attack. Pac is VERY vulnerable to these full sized welterweights when it comes to his body. At the same time Pac will be in a familiar place to open up on another southpaws body. I just don't think Pac has the tank to hang with Spence going into the later rounds. Spence could keep him at bay with a jab and seal the later rounds on the backfoot.
Garcia is skilled, yeah. But he is far and away the lesser physical specimen that Pac is. He has short small legs, a plodding conventional boxer puncher style, a long vulnerable torso and severely lacks the dexterity, accuracy and broad ranging offense compared to Pac. He does have a big granite chin and one could say more durable than Pac.
Again I'll say, I highly doubt Pac will fight any big Welterweights again after the beating he recieved from Thurman.Comment
