... OK, OK... "some rounds" doesn't really mean "all of them" -- especially when you are supposed to be the "second coming" at the HW...

Even Tyson, Foreman & Liston went the distance with guys during their reign of destruction. Its a good experience & confidence builder for a young cat to know he can go 10 or 12 rounds.

Some people make a lil too much of a super sexy KO % or streak.

This was a nice bump up for Efe & there were more important questions being asked of him than if he could KO a very competent high level amateur with a sexy record himself.

Don't forget that Demi knocked out Tony Yoka.

Ajagba took his punches for 10 rounds and made easy work of him.

Alot of overreaction to Ajagba going the distance with Ali. The Turkish fighter impressed me with his upper body movement and ability to slip punches (he could take the ones that landed too). I thought Ajagba was in with a very live opponent and was forced to fight with a different approach and still won.

It's good that he faced some adversity in an early fight. He knows he can go deep in fights and he now knows he won't be able to put everyone away. I'm still high on Ajagba. He has to refine some things but he's still early in his career.

Dubois went 10 rounds with Kevin Johnson.

Joyce went 12 rounds with Bryant Jennings.

And they have more amateur experience than Ajagba. Fans are impatient and want to see a Superman appear like magic. But not everyone can be a Lomachenko, and even he took a loss in his second fight. We need to let these prospects learn and grow. The next 10 fights will show us Efe's potential.

Thanks for posting. What a left hook. He should crush his next opponent fairly easily. His first "real" test should be interesting.

That's what I've been saying about Demirezen before the fight, ex-Olympian too. Stopped all his opponents in the pros bar one DQ win and this latest result. He's a good inside fighter, would give many a tough fight. He's established himself as a contender now I believe. Also Efe has a hell of a chin, Demirezen isn't too shabby himself.
