Eddie needs to stop messing around with Hrgovic
I say Hrgovic is ripe n ready for a fight with the likes of Charles Martin, Hughie Fury, Christian Hammer, David Price, Gerald Washington and Joe Joyce.

I think Hrgovic vs Price is a good co-main for Parker-Chisora

This was a nice bump up for Efe & there were more important questions being asked of him than if he could KO a very competent high level amateur with a sexy record himself.
I remember James "quick" Tillis giving Tyson a tough fight. Without bothering to look it up I think the judges had it fairly close. Ajagba was respecting this guy and that is why he did not go for the K.O. That Turkish dude can take a punch and has decent skills. Good step up fight for Efe. Hopefully his level of opposition continues upward. No sense in any more tomato cans!

Hrgovic would be favored over all them. I'd like to see Joyce rematch though, insane fight.

Exactly, he's at the stage where he should surpass all of them and boost his own rep off of their names.

I had it 96-94 Ajagba. I gave Demirezen rds 2,3, 6 & 8. I knew Byrd would turn in a dumb card. She has no business being a judge. I knew Demirezen would be a tough fight for Ajagba. I have 9 of his fights so I was familiar with what type of fighter he was. He reminds me of Francois Botha in his younger days. Good chin, tough, aggressive & fearless but lacks power. He was outgunned more often than not when he stepped in with contenders but he would stand in there & exchange. Ajagba obviously had all the advantages & showed a good variety of punches but Demirezen took every shot well & never looked hurt at all. He also fired back with good counters. This was a solid fight between 2 prospects. Everyone expected Ajagba to crush him but I knew it would be a tough fight because I have followed both since they came on the seen. Demirezen mostly fights in Europe on smaller cards. Great learning experience for Ajagba. He will only get better from this experience. Demirezen gained some good exposure & showed some skill & toughness. This fight should also help him get some more good fights. He too is a prospect to watch. I like it when prospects fight. It doesn't happen enough in this era of protecting the "0". First we had Dubois vs Gorman & now we got this fight. The HW division has some really good prospects. Ajagba, Dubois, Dychko, Hrgovic, Sirenko, Franklin, Arias, Rozanski, Teslenko, Romanov, & several others. Gorman, Kean, Bakole, Ugonoh, & Demirezen all have lost but still should be considered prospects as well. The HW division is getting good again & there is a bright future.

Nice write up! I tend to agree with all you said. My scorecard wasn't too different from yours, if not identical. After the 8th round, I had it even. But Ajagba won the last two rounds to nick it. He needed a fight like this for his development, especially the opportunity to fight on the back foot and go the distance. Styles make fights, and this was a classic case. Truly, prospects need to fight each other more often. One of my all-time HW bouts was between prospects: Tua vs Ike. I'll watch Ajagba vs Yoka over Fury vs Wilder. All day.
