Believe it or not, most British casual fans respect Wilder both as a fighter and a personality.

Oh I know, I made a comment about that the other day. I spend a bit of time in London, consider it my second home and hope to retire there someday as it's on my top three places to retire to unless the Maldives get sunken due to global warming. British boxing fans in person have by far and large been enjoyable fellow fight fans to chat with and banter with about the eras. He's from Alabama, one of our lowest educational level states in the country.
