You know that sounds fucked up. Actually it sounds a bit racist, if you were to ask me. Deontay Wilder speaks with an Appalachian southern dialect. That's the way they talk in that region of the country; The United States. Try studying and researching American dialects sometime.

People of that region are often mischaracterized and stereotyped as being uneducated and unintelligent. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Many of them have professional college degrees.

Wilder is highly intelligent. He may not sound as articulate or enunciate verbiage as good as you but he has more brains than you will ever know.

If you ever watched interviews with him, without having to put a show for the cameras, which is what people want....he's not a scholar but he's a nice, thoughtful, and pretty intelligent guy. Personalities sell in boxing and marketing is important, being a hero and a heel depending on your stance, isn't a bad way to market yourself.
