Holy **** MCC just can not stop lying. I can put up with his racism and his xenophobic tenancies but this lying needs to stop. Looking like a racist xenophobic liar is not the best look.
Trouble in DAZN land. Canelo is not happy!!!

Brought zero subscribers? No one said that. But in the article you posted it literally says it's had essentially minimal impact. We don't know what exactly what almost 1m subscribers figure was. But looking at their schedule they had a shyt load going on in March and April. And if you ordered the canelo fight a lot ordered in April. That obviously would be the biggest boost in subscriptions. And I don't know why you guys keep acting like MLB red zone show has brought zero subscribers. Or these other sports like Bellator which has had tv ratings on Paramount that are better then top rank and they send their version of PPV fights to DAZN. MLB, and all the other content out side boxing bring in less subscribers but they do have subscribers and all those smaller subscriptions add up

Baseball Push
DAZN’s U.S. push began when it won rights to 100 boxing matches a year and it’s been streaming fights since December. In April it added Major League Baseball with coverage that excludes live games but takes viewers to all the major ball parks for updates.
Baseball has brought it thousands of new subscribers, according to a person familiar with the company’s plans, who asked not to be identified discussing internal figures.
DAZN has grown by offering streamed sports for less than the prices typically charged by traditional pay-TV broadcasters. That’s brought it more than 4 million subscribers globally, of which around 1.2 million are in the U.S.
And I doubt most of the people subscribed in April for Canelo's fight. That was a PPV-esque fight and like any other PPV fights, majority of the buys come in the last days before the fight.baseball hasn’t driven meaningful subscription growth for DAZN
They had Bellator shows before the Canelo/Fielding fight and it didn't do much for DAZN. How do we know? An article came out a few months ago talking about how Canelo was responsible for majority of the subscribers after his December fight. Canelo is a needle mover, absolute superstar. Guys like Munguia or Estrada or Prograis are certainly not.
But again, not trying to change your opinion. If you believe the Bloomberg article then more power to you and DAZN.Comment

Don't try me. I posted the exact article stating that MLB show was a disaster. When I say nobody is subscribing for that MLB show that's hyperbole because the numbers are so low. Just like when I call DAZN an app nobody is watching that's hyperbole because the numbers are low. Nobody takes that as me being literal.See how you lying first you said nobody subscribers for MLB now you lying saying they said only a couple thousands that's not what they saild they saild thousands who knows exactly what that number is. You the idiot who said in April that they didn't even have 200k subscribers which was another lie. If they had under 500K in March, end of April they have close to 1M subscribers a week before Canelo fight driven largely by Canelo fans who subscribed early for his fight. And stop this nonsense they didn't release oress releases for other countries when they cracked 1M subscribers...and YouTube has a phuking publicbcounter where anyone can see how many users liked/subscribe to their channel you dummy what the phuk does a PR twet about public YouTube channel have to do with DAZN not releasing private user data you dumb phuk? None of these streaming services release this type of data and when they do it's cryptic and random when they feel like it.
That MLB show is got thousands Not tens of thousands. Not hundreds of thousands. Merely thousands of subs. I said it from the beginning. MLB is for old people. The average MLB viewer has an AARP card. Those old folks are not signing up to a streaming service to watch baseball highlights.
But if you want to believe they got 1.2 mil then more power you to you.Comment

The only way dumb azzz Pugmire numbers can be true is if the live viewership numbers from the canelo fight was damn near 100% of their total subscribers which is just plain ****** to think that and DAZN having literally having next to no subscribers outside of boxing fans. The point of the article is that MLB Redzone hasn't been a game changer for them as a company but it has subscribers thousands of them and opened the door for them to contact other major sports that's exactly what Bloomberg wrote. My point is bellator, MLB, Soccer, all these sports have subscribers smaller percent then boxing but they have subscribers and they add up. And Bellator specifically just like boxing you don't launch a new subscription service and over night all of bellator fans goes to DAZN. Just like you don't launch in boxing and over night have all boxing subscribers. Whatever their bellator numbers are today they obviously higher then it was back in Nov when many fans still had no clue what DAZN was. They changed their pay methods not just in boxing but in bellator and all their sports. That was a huge incentive to get people to subscribe because now have a deal to sign up for 8 bucks a month for the entire year cheaper then what it was before you think not a single Bellator fan joined because of that changed.Brought zero subscribers? No one said that. But in the article you posted it literally says it's had essentially minimal impact.

All these things lead to subscribers. You and Motor city are trying to hard. Fact is the 3 most 3 credible sources who put their names on the line stating DAZN subscriber numbers said they were close to 1M in subscribers at of April, planning to surpass 1M by June and now Bloomberg saying they are at 1.2M subscribers in July.Last edited by bigdunny1; 07-19-2019, 01:01 AM.Comment

And MLS soccer? When did DAZN get rights to that? I see the games on ESPN all the time. When did that change?
Whatever amount of new subscribers they got for Canelo-Jacobs, surely they didn't retain all of them… or close to that.
To ME, it seems a bit suspect how they got to 1.2M. Not only was I told that, but that math just doesn't add up.
Either that, or everyone was completely off from the beginning.
But whatever, talked about this long enough….Comment

Where in the article did it say a couple thousand? Thousands could mean many things you added only a couple thousand which the article didn't say. Again my point isn't that MLB is the driving factor on DAZN you dumbazzz I'm saying DAZN has many sports that add subscribers. For example don't tell me nobody has DAZN for bellator when they drew about 450K viewers on avg last year on Paramount. And they send their biggest fights to DAZN. Motherphuker PBC on FS1 avg like 200K viewers. Showtime last card with Charlo avg about 250K viewers the entire card. A lot of people are watching bellator hell more then are watching PBC on showtime FS1 right now. They have subscribers, so does MLB and does all these other little sports that shyt adds up.Don't try me. I posted the exact article stating that MLB show was a disaster. When I say nobody is subscribing for that MLB show that's hyperbole because the numbers are so low. Just like when I call DAZN an app nobody is watching that's hyperbole because the numbers are low. Yes I believe Bloomberg and I believe Former HBO exec Evan Rutkowski and the CEO of DAZN when all these guys speak on subscription numbers their word > Yours. Especially with all the lies and BS you have been caught trying to sell with your agenda.Comment

They have J1 League and La Liga and other soccer tournaments the rights too. What doesn't seem right is you think dumbazzz pugmire saying they have EXACTLY the same amount of total subscribers as they had Canelo/Jacobs live viewers. So no other sports has subscribers and not 1 single person either went to the fight live, went to fight party, or watched 1hr later or on demand the next day? And the other person who co-signed him nobody knew it because he said that is a phuking Q&A blog over a month after the fight he has never felt the need to actually report those numbers even though he tweets and reports all kinds of boxing news even small shyt that nobody cares about. He just simply forget to tweet the DAZN subscription numbers? Or he better yet he refuses to put his name and rep on the line for a shyt source likely Pugmire that's why he never written it in a article or tweeted it out. Meanwhile Evan Rutkowski actually reported numbers and put his rep on the line. The CEO of DAZN basically confirmed they are close to 1M and were planning to surpass 1M by June and now Bloomberg reporting they did that and are now at 1.2M subscribers. REAL Reporting and word of the CEO of the actual company > a mother phuker repeating bs on a blog (Coop doesn't even believe it because if he did he would of tweeted it out like he does real shyt that he has concrete sources for)No, I'm not trying too hard at all.

The only creditible people to actual report the subscriptions have all lined up and make perfect sense. It's only when you feed into bs agenda and idiots that were lying making up numbers saying they only had less then 200K subscriptions in april like dumbazzz Motor city that's when you have to scramble and make up stories like the live view numbers for 1 fight = total subscribers for the entire DAZN service LMAO

MCC is a Pugmire Podcast fan. Being influenced by that guy and starting threads about DAZN’s “mess” is very tacky... because Pugmire gossips like a girl..They have J1 League and La Liga and other soccer tournaments the rights too. DAZN got rights to La Liga? When did that happen? Damn, MLS AND La Liga? Interesting, had no idea. They have J1 League and La Liga and other soccer tournaments the rights too. I have to scramble and make up stories? Never made up one story. But looks like you possibly made stuff up by saying DAZN has MLS and La Liga rights. I mean unless you can show me that?
I've already said it is possible Coppinger and Pugmire could be wrong with their numbers. But you kept calling Rutkowski an HBO exec when that is not true at all as he doesn't even work for HBO anymore and when he did, he was part of the marketing department.
What is the difference between Coppinger responding in the Q&A than him responding to some tweets? Why do you keep bringing that up? And once again, why would he write an article of how many subscribers DAZN has? He just responded to a question. At this point it seems like it is YOU who is trying too hard.Comment
