Uh, jaime was turned down by DAZN. It was posted last week.I do not believe that fight was ever seriously considered
FACT: if Canelo wanted to fight Munguia, it would happen tomorrow
if Munguia was ever mentioned as an opponent for Canelo..... that was likely to provide the appearance of "options", when entering into negotiations with the likes of Duva/Hearn/etc
I say again.....

I liked him when he was a boxer putting in work. I don't like protected bytches. I'll ALWAYS call it how I see it and even though I've defended him a lot in the past, that doesn't mean I'm going to defend this bullshyt. Guy was overpaid to make his employers money and now he's refusing to even fight. *** this phag.
Right. U can like a fighter for his ability doesn’t mean u have to like him as a person or his choices. So many people on here said that opponents not taking his offer are just gonna lose out because someone else will take it. So why are fights so hard to make and money such a sticking point? The top opponents hold out for a reason, they often share managers, and they even collude in a way that keeps purses up especially against the cash cow. Boxing is based on precedent. Canelo can slide down the line till they find a guy willing to take what they offer but then who does that guy end up being? Clearly Nelo couldn’t even make a fight worth making or selling to the public. They will have to offer more when the next date comes around because they already missed out on one. Nelo runs boxing but the rest of the guys have to be united so they don’t get carpet bagged. Obviously there wasent this “mythical next guy” worthy sellable opponent that existed like all the guys calling the managers morons said would show up. DAZN now knows that Canelo “works to rule”.Comment

[QUOTE=aboutfkntime;19908553]accusing Canelo of ducking a guy that he already beat.....If the fight was so easy like you guys claim then its easy. Its easily the biggest fight he can take. No fight is bigger. Name a fight that would be bigger. You cant.
..... when Canelo was in talks to jump TWO divisions to face Kovalev at 175.....They werent even serious because they didn't even offer him a real deal. Kovalev has ZERO incentive to fight Canelo. Kovalev does not need Canelo and you fans cant handle that.
..... and ignoring the fact that Hypekin is too scared to fight Andrade and Charlo to FORCE that fight.....GGG could fight both and win the mandatory and then Canelo just vacate the belt. You think we havent seen this before dude? And then you dumb asses will claim, oh, GGG still begging for Canelo payday. It doesn't matter what GGG does. And you know Canelo is about to drop that IBF belt so he doesn't have to fight Derv right? Idk...if memory recalls I remember the whole of of you guys talking a lot of **** when GGG vacated instead of fighting him. So are you gonna claim Canelo is scared of Derv? Of course not. Because your a straight up fanboy and hater.
..... are the actions of a full blown crackhead[Get off that crack. /QUOTE]Comment

I agree completely that NOBODY tells Canelo who to fight. DAZN will have to pretend to like any move Nelo wants to do. Why would Nelo even sign with DAZN unless he thought it was a way to make more for less?If Canelo NEVER fights again on DAZN it will be one of the biggest blunders in business. That's what DAZN will be known for. DAZN's entire entrance into the US market was based around Canelo. He single-handedly is responsible for all their subscriptions right now. You take him to court and all those subscribers walk out the door with Canelo. Immediately there will be fans demanding refunds and suing them if they don't. You think that's what DAZN wants to be known for? The company that sabotaged itself in year 1 of breaking ground in the US? Never mind the fact that no other big name fighter will EVER sign with DAZN when they see how they treat their biggest star. It will be the end of DAZN taken serious in boxing and the end of DAZN in the United States.
Canelo is already rich as hell DAZN needs him more then he needs DAZN. If he contract is voided or he get's out his deal every other major network will throw money at him to sign him because he's by far the biggest star and draw of the sport. You take him to court he could just go back to Mexico who don't give a phuk about any US contracts he signed and he fights there. Canelo just put DAZN on time out. Making it clear to them that NOBODY tells Canelo who to fight. When he does fight it will be who he wants.Comment

link..... ?
also, so what..... ?
like I said..... if Munguia was ever mentioned as an opponent for Canelo..... that was likely to provide the appearance of "options", when entering into negotiations with the likes of Duva/Hearn/etc
on another train-of-thought, (and not because I want or support the prospect of a horrible Canelo/Munguia fight).....
why did DAZN refuse the Mexican champion, for Canelo..... but approve the Canadian scrub, for Golovkin? wtf?
