Canelo is telling everyone he beat him and Canelo is defying his business partner by not giving them what they want risking his credibility, cancelling a date that is a favorite of his fan base even though he's confident he will win. When you put it that way it all comes together.
I did not say DAZN wants Golovkin to lose. That's incomplete. I said DAZN would PREFER any outcome as long as Canelo vs GGG 3 happens. This closing series (trilogy) fight is a commodity back catalogue for DAZN. THat's the $100 million investment. Seeing how things are going. There most likely some stipulations that many of us don't know about. FOr example, I'm sure GBP are partially at fault because its deal with DAZN (the GBP fighters) might have been general words between Skipper and Oscar. For example, ''Oscar, please, you gotta get Canelo to fight GGG in the future'' months back. Seeing how Oscar was pleased that DAZN would be a house for his future fighters, I doubt he really agreed or payed attention to Skipper's demands. IN way, Oscar taking advantage of Skipper's trust. At the same time, it's hard to know Oscar and Canelo's relationship regarding.

In my honest opinion, GBP is on Canelo's side vs Skipper.

Look at the ratio as of late that Canelo has noticed:

Wilder in 3 fights $100mil. That's almost the same ratio as Canelo's deal. And GBP knows GGG would bank $30mil against Canelo's maximum $35mil. To Canelo and GBP, it's obvious they are supplying GGG's justified salary. They ain't cool with that. That's what's obvious. At the very least Canelo let the public know that GGG should at least get a belt...

Again, this is a meritocracy war.

Yeah GBP is on Canelo's side or else they will shortly be kicked to the curb. Golovkin or his team or both made a colossal error by not having a rematch clause in both contracts. Especially in the second fight after the unsatisfactory result. The last time I was that perplexed was when Hopkins was installed as an underdog against Trinidad by the press and bookmakers.. LOL.

Yeah it's about the money why he wanted to fight him again but he also wanted to prove he was the better fighter and that Canelo got a gift.
fight almost doesnt get made cuz ggg's money demands , oscar had to put money from his own pocket,it was all about the money... he was on record saying he didnt care about the rematch...
