That will be a good scrap... Risky fight for Whyte, but i think a lot of people underestimate him. Rivas is a strong guy with a big heart, but he's limited too.

Dillian by premature ref's stoppage in 8

Hahahahaha 9 in a row though. 8 nobodies and a gift decision from a phantom headbutt knockdown. Hopefully he gets past Rivas, then is willing to fight better comp until Fury vs Wilder is done with their Trilogy.

Badly disguised trolling post. Hearn took Fury up on his offer to fight Whyte if it was for the WBC diamond title. Then when the WBC confirmed it would do that - Fury ran away.

Whyte was not available for that fight when Hearn "took him up" on the offer. So it's hard to count that.

This fight makes sense to me...Rivas just got a KO over a name fighter in Jennings, he's top 10 in WBC rankings, and he's limited yet aggressive enough for Whyte to catch him with that left hook

So whyte turned down a guaranteed shot at 3 world titles, so he could battle it out to become a mandatory and potentially get a shot at 1 world title some time in the future.

Wilder should have faught Whyte over Ortiz in my opinion.
Ortiz 2 is a voluntary, and title unification trumps mandatory.

The Ortiz rematch is set for November apparently, and the WBC mandatory isn't due until May/June.

Plenty of time to pair the Ortiz rematch with a second voluntary, if that were to be the move by Wilder.

Dillian Whyte isn't the fighter folks want people to think he is, and this Rivas fight will likely show it

God is great! I always prayed that one day Wilder and Ortiz will fight Dillian Whyte and Anthony Joshua. That prayer is heard now. Dillian Whyte will easily beat Oscar Rivas and the winner of Wilder vs Ortiz awaits him. The good part is Whyte can't ask for too much as he will be a mando and the champ will get a fair share. No running away this time mate!!! Whyte better start praying that he can get away with his dirty tactics. I am sure without the head butt on Parker he won't have won! Once a fighter is dazed he won't recover fully within an hour.

Shyte is going to have to defend his interim-title and still may have to fight someone else for the vacant WBC title if Wilder is elevated by the WBC -- which reminds me, according to the current rankings Parker and Kownacki would be the leading candidates for the vacant WBC HW title. I doubt Shyte beats either.
Where did you hear that bit about there being a proposal by the WBC board of directors? Ive heard some of you moronic Wilder goons on here talking about it but ive heard nothing official or even slightly official on those matters. You sure you are not just making that up to help your **** all over Dillian Whyte post?

Also any talk of a unification fight only happens if Ruiz beats Joshua a 2nd time. Wilder wont face Joshua i think there have been enough chances turned down by Team Wilder for that fight to see he has been ducking Joshua.
