Don't let the fanboys get under your skin, in this day and age half are probably paid to post on forums like big company's do on site that talk about their products. Younger cats are all about wanting to belong to something not standing on their own.. started with playstation vs nintendo, apple vs android and now when you add social media we get fanboy flame wars instead of discussions (it's not about facts anymore). Let people drown in their own ignorance and life will do the rest. Life as away of teaching people what they need to learn and not in a fun way lol... I've learned to sit back break out the popcorn and watch these cats crash and burn online and/or in real life. All fanboys no matter the side have the same weakness... fear that comes from insecurity.Wilders fan base is the worst in history so yea it does matter here when they use the undefeated angle and have selective memory on fights he was lucky to get by while adding guys like Joshua to his resume even though Wilder ducked that fight but want credit for someone elses win...I didn't see any Joshua fans adding Wilder to Joshuas resume after the Fury fight. lolComment

Fury will win if he stays serious. his biggest down fall is inability to remain serious and likes winning when not putting in max effort in training. Cant see him as a ATG but he could get by wilder and maybe retire with no losses. I don't think he'll fight AJ .Comment

Some of you can't get over the fact that the shoes on a homeless man's feet are worth more than your opinion that Fury won the fight. No matter how you slice it...the three people whose opinion mattered differed such that the fight was a draw. End of.Comment

I agree. Truth be told: I saw it recorded so I had already gotten all the reactions to it. My opinion may be colored by that. Also, I watched it with the sound down, so I am not swayed by the announcers. But I gave Wilder quite a few of those early rounds no one else seems to. I do NOT think Fury landed much. He put on a nice show, but I saw Wilder landing more solid shots. I do think as the fight progressed Fury was moving so much better and commanded the ring. He surely dictated the spacing and distance. But Wilder needed just three more rounds for the tie. I can defend that.I had Fury winning but it wasn't as wide as people make out.
There were a lot of rounds where there wasn't much in it. Fury's feinting/showboating/posturing and raising his hands after the bell without doing much created the illusion that he was dominating when it was a dominant performance.
I did look up the actual scorecards for reference:
Judge Alejandro Rochen gave Wilder rounds 1 through 4, and round 8 on top of the 2 knockdowns and scored a clear Wilder win, 115- 111.
Judge Phil Edwards gave Wilder rounds 1, 6 and 7 plus the 2 knockdowns for the tie, 113-113.
Judge Robert Tapper Gave Wilder 1 and 7 plus the 2 knockdowns to give Fury a close 114-112.Comment
