Wlad didn’t rematch two of his losses imagine the **** Aj would get if he didn’t rematch Ruiz even if he went in to dominate

      Eh, Vlad's definitely top 10-15 all-time.

      Vitali's probably top 20.

        Wlad is an ATG.

Vitali was a bum beater and his resume is trash.

Wlad is a fair shout. He dominated an era, albeit a weak one but that’s not his fault.

Vitali has a garbage resume and his reputation is based on giving an old out of shape Lewis a tough few rounds before getting his face caved in and stopped. People seem to deny the fact it was Lennox’s punches that did the damage. Vitali got stopped fair and square.

So Vitali is not an ATG, he simply hasn’t got any claims to be. People rate him higher than Wlad simply because he was tougher. Well Dave Allen is probably tougher than Joshua, it doesn’t mean he’s better. Wlad is better than Vitali in almost every other aspect and his achievements show it.

I don’t disagree with what you just said, but the thread asked if the brothers were all-time greats, and I believe the level of competition means as much, of not more, than just notching wins.

Vitali was up 4-2. Lennox cut him while holding and hitting, an illegal punch. That was pure luck, that the glove happened to graze his eye and cut it open. There is a reason Lennox turned down a career high payday for a rematch.

Hell no! They both lost to a bunch of low risk, over achieving and limited opponents. In the weakest heavyweight division that a generation has ever produced.

He was never knocked down and made 11 successful title defenses of the WBC world heavyweight title. His record was 45 wins with 41 KOs. only 2 losses. Wlad was great at his best but he lost by KO a few times and did not have a great chin like Vitali did.
Every fighter that gets stopped only lost due to injury. Tards like this are pathetic.
