I agree. Just judging by the eye test the kid is the goods. He is part of the next generation and future of the Heavyweight division.

Oh my bad! I get what you are saying. You are talking about the much younger and the next generation of heavyweight prospects.

You are right. All of those young prospects can hit and that is no lie.

I mean, he is who he is. His power is nothing great, he gets hit a lot and he's super slow.

Can't see it getting any better for the guy.....

He puts me in the mind of Adam Kownacki so much. Both throws lot of arm punches, have very high punch volumes, workrates, excellent cardiovascular conditioning and a granite chin. The only exception is that Joe Joyce doesn't eat as many punches as Kownacki does.

The biggest question about Yoka is his toughness. But that's only against the highest competition in the division. He's one of the better prospects out there. Dimitrenko was always an overhyped bum, like Helenius. There's no shortage of those types that aren't known yet (I knew of Schwarz, another eurobum a couple of years before he fought Fury), but will be hyped as they keep winning against eurobum competition until they step up. Seen it before, and it happens again and again.

PS: And shame on BS writter who chose not to mention it at all.
Yeah I have the fight. Dimitrenko has been a timid punching bag for a long time now. He had a slight resurgence in the Jennings fight for some reason. He got stopped but actually showed a little heart getting up a few times. He also landed that hail mary against Granat but he has pretty much laid down for any decent opponent in recent years. He threw some punches in the 1st but that was about it. Yoka did what he had to do...

Remember Dimitrenko fainted in the dressing room before the sosnowski fight...

The most Upside as far as up and coming Heavyweights, still a lot of questions to be answered though. Haven't been tested, also have to question why the hell haven't came over to the States Yet.

He is building a good following in France and has a network deal of his own in France with Canal+ BUT he does have to come over to the States eventually. Heavyweight Boxing is on fire right now, come over and get in the middle of it and make a name for yourself early and start to build up your fanbase early. I think he should go to ESPN Personally, way more exposure!

Yoka's gonna have to fight outside of France sometime, so why not now?
