Who was the better fighter?

You know the deal with Canelo fans is they want to compare everything except the 2X Canelo and GGG fought.
Golovkin won the first fight easy and outworked Alvarez in the second fight but the judges had a draw and a MD (which means neither guy dominated and is why fans call for a 3rd fight)
Why his fans don't want to see a third fight , but instead come up with bs claims that can't be proven one way or another is a mystery to me.Comment

That clown is a casual. He legit said he didn't recognise any names on Ruiz's resume other than Parker and Joshua.
So he's never heard of Dimitrenko or Kevin Johnson.
He then said he only followed top fighters and named Vitali Klitschko. Johnson fought Klitschko for a world title, Johnson who he'd never heard of.
Explains why he's making such embarrassingly ****** arguments about Golovkins resume.Comment

Lara is probably my 2nd favorite fighter of this era...I do get frustrated with his listlessness sometimes though. That clown is a casual. He legit said he didn't recognise any names on Ruiz's resume other than Parker and Joshua.

I would rate him slightly ahead of Murray at their peaks...on talent it isn't really close imo...but over 12 rounds Lara has too many bouts of inconsistency which makes him have closer fights vs less skilled opponents...skill wise he is incredible imo.
If you had an option of 'about the same' I would tick that box...but since that isn't an option I won't be voting.
Also - I literally never said any of that Roberto lol...I said I respected boxers who stayed in shape, and listed Vitali as one of those guys, and those guys seem to be an exception at HW...I never really followed him and could not name 5 of his opponents without boxrec atm.
But keep on hyping up Ruiz's resume and slighting GGG's lol..that was fun.
Btw you never answered - what do you think of AJ's wins of Whyte, Povetkin, Breazeale, Takam and Parker? You know, the only real 5 or so wins that he has besides beating a 40 year old Wlad...which I still rate btw...that was a great fight and a great win in my book.Comment

Honestly if prime versions of those guys fought...and weight was no issue...Lara would probably make it a much closer fight than it should have been and I could see Murray getting to 7 rounds depending on the night.
Skill wise it is not close...but Lara always had those moments of listlessness and as a fan of his it bothers me...it is the reason why his Hurd and Vanes fights were so close...and while I felt he won all of those he made them closer than he needed to.
He pissed away the last 4 rounds imo to Canelo too...and cost himself that fight on my card.Comment

Martinez was pretty much done, and Sturm too. Sturm ran through Barker because he was even more finished due to his hip.I was making that claim.
But I forgot that Lara is Cuban and Murray magically transformed from a highly rated contender who would have been undefeated, unified MW champion if he hadn't been robbed on the road against Sturm and Martinez, into a bum, as soon as he signed to fight GGG.
Sorry, my bad.
Murray was a huge 160lber with a solid chin and solid fundamentals, he was better than a gatekeeper but not world champion material, in the end he couldn't get over the line against two faded champions.
Lara is fast, has elite boxing skills and underrated toughness. There is no comparison between them, Lara is a far superior fighter in his weight class, he is knocking on the door to elite, but prob never quite made it to that.Comment
...don't let that clown Boxing1013 see this thread and the poll results...yikes
