you sound so insecure. I'm the same poster who made a thread calling Pacquiao a **** supporter. I got a bunch of angry karma from his fans. I don't give a damn about red or green k. this stuff doesnt translate to money who gives a fck.
I just rewatched the fight and saw no way Floyd won it. I haven't watched it since maybe 2008.
I have never seen Floyd's accuracy look so horrible as it did here. and i know Oscar was A side and stacked everything in his favor (like ALL A sides do)but I just focused on what happened in the ring. and Floyd lost.
I don't know how a post sounds insecure. Re watching a fight is the problem. You didn't go into it with an open mind. You went into it wanting to find Floyd losing so you found him losing.
The same version of this thread has been made before. It's just sad that guys haven't gotten over a loss after 12 years.
really? I havent watched it back in a long time but oscar was eating right hands all night and was ineffective against the ropes I didnt see anything other than a Floyd win and although it has a bad rep for analyzing fights but for me compubox pretty much sums up what I saw
Floyd agreed to all the stipulations set by Oscar.
Floyd came to Oscar's backyard where he KNEW oscar would have the referees and judges in his pocket.
And Floyd STILL put a beating on Oscar that left people butt hurt for 10+ years

G.O.A.T
this is where you enter dicksucking territory. what beating? all Floyd did was punch the leather off Oscar's gloves. it was his most pathetic performance ever. accuracy was ABYSMAL.
Delahoya theoretically could have won but he abandoned his jab, and his ring IQ was not close to Mayweather's. There's reasons why DLH lost and he did lose.
My recollection of that fight is like this. Oscar won the early rounds largely due to his workrate. He was simply outpunching Floyd in the first half of their bout.
In addition, De La Hoya was the aggressor by controlling the action with his jab and forcing Floyd backwards while throwing lots of shoe shines and flurries along the ropes; Which made the fight seem a lot closer than it was.
However, as the fight wore on Oscar began to exhaust and fatigue down the stretch as he dispensed of the jab. Which allowed Money a window back into the fight.
He had to because after the eight round, I had Floyd trailing and losing the fight on my unofficial score card due to Oscar's busier workrate. Therefore, Money May had to bite down and dig deep in this fight which he did.
In addition, aside from the occasional flurry De La Hoya would throw along the ropes. Mayweather would began to pick up the pace late and rallied down the stretch to win a very close decision victory with accurate and clean punching.
