Mike Coppinger: Ruiz vs AJ rematch clause (location)

Mike Coppinger works with Fox Sports and PBC, and he's a boxing insider. So he's privy to more information. And this is what he tweeted yesterday:

I know Hearn is a greedy scumbag but he can't be that dumb to give a voluntary challenger who begged for a fight that much leverage. I know where the rematch is but this is to help Josh haters eat some crow.

Hearn is most likely the one telling Ruiz to keep talking smack to sell the rematch, he can't be trusted after hearing what happened in NYC. Everything will unravel soon.

Please don’t mention that fat gay booty scratcher on my thread. I’m sure he’s also the one running around as “big stomps” as his alt.

I know he used to work for LA Times and I was assuming he works for PBC since he does boxing on Fox Sports.

Nah, never. He did have a guest slot on the show though.

Well, if they can't agree on a venue then chances are they may lose the rematch clause by default; Like Tyson did to James Buster Douglas because those titles Andy are currently holding all have mandatory challengers.

So unless they can agree upon a venue, then Ruiz is free to defend those titles as often as he so wish. He just owes Joshua a rematch; Not the belts. Unless there is language in the contract clause stipulating this.

However, the final say is up to the sanctioning bodies.

Have you learned to punch a bag with correct form yet? Those itty bitty t-rex arms look real effective on you. The jab just slides up the bag. Have you replaced those chains you broke with incorrect punch technique?
