Of course, and I want to see the best Gennady. But my reply was towards the person who said Canelo stays the same when every fight improves...

But I do think Banks will be a plus if they fight again.
I agree with you bro, the thing that tells me G will have to turn back the clock so to speak was his inability to get off first which I feel contributed to the lack of body shots from G. He just couldn't pull the trigger fast enough against an elite opponent although I haven't seen anyone that's consistently attacked canelos body.

We'll have to wait and see but I was impressed with the punch selection and body shots against rolls so banks is either on the right track or rolls wasn't good enough to make G hesitant it's hard to tell.

trainers rarely make a difference with older fighters. no matter what they work on, ggg will revert to what's got him this far, especially when the pressure is on. not saying that isn't enough to beat canelo, cuz I thought he won the first one and edged the 2nd as well, but the younger guy has to be favored in these type of situations. if canelo didn't have issues with fighting a full 12 rounds, I'd pick him to win a comfortable UD...the wild card here is what canelo brings, not ggg.

Yeah, He looked rejuvenated against Rolls but Alvarez does take a punch. I think Golovkin's hurt Alvarez once or twice but he recovers and fires back like the top guy he is.

Great points I haven't seen alvarez actually hurt since he got rocked by cottos brother years ago like ggg they both have granite there fights are highly cerebral and a joy to watch.

I'm gonna have to check out that Cotto fight, just to see that it's possible to hurt that little fire hydrant. lol

The biggest advantage Banks brings to Golovkin's corner is that he is not Abel Sanchez. Abel is a great trainer if all you are going to do is seek and destroy. That was apparently the only plan Abel had for the second fight and when it didn't work (because of Canelo's chin and the obvious difference in hand speed) Abel had nothing else.
