Bank's Will Be the Difference In GGG vs Alvarez III

Sanchez was on record saying you don't train to adapt to your opponent, you train to bring your fighter in at 100%.
Banks has a different philosophy and will look to adapt Golovkin's style to take advantage of Alvarez's stamina issues.
Alvarez can't fight any better than he did last time and stamina is his Achilles's heel. but Golovkin, with Bank's help can the adjustments that will be the difference.

Lol. Canelo can’t improve, and is considered in his Prime, but GGG can improve while his fans sprinkle age in any illustrative scenario...?

With help from Banks, it's possible Golovkin can fight a smarter fight.

Good post but one thing that is overlooked is, canelo can make adjustments on the fly during a fight G moves more in the third fight canelo will increase body punching.G comes in more aggressive canelo will just counter more he has the advantage in reflexes and punch variety throughout a whole fight.

If both fighters were on equal terms (primes, conditioning.) then gennadiy is a sure winner but he had to fight exceptionally hard to overcome his age and reflex disadvantages in the first two fights. Banks can't magically turn back the clock on father time but I will give him credit if a revitalized destroyer version of G turns up for fight 3.

That's the thing that's been wrong with him working with Sanchez the past few years, is that I doubt he's been coming into the ring 100%. We've seen the way he looks physically in between fights and during and he looks nothing like he did in his early 30's up until about 34. Obviously he's older, but Sanchez hasn't adapted anything to an aging Golovkin. You can tell he was cutting more weight than he used to and they clearly didn't work on anything in camp as far as game plans. A third fight should happen. Preferably sooner than later.

You're right about turning back the clock and about Alvarez's ability to adjust. Most of the time a fighter can only do what the other fighter let's him, so maybe Golovkin, even with Banks in his corner, won't be able to exploit Canelo's stamina problem. But I do think Banks will be a plus if they fight again.

Emmanuel Stewart's butler , Jonathan Banks can't fight for Golovkin.

CANELO knocking GGG out cold is inevitable.🥊🎯😴

I think Able was on to something. Fighters for the most part need to stick to what they are good are at. Sure you can adjust to change what you want to target for your current opponent, but if you have a winning formula, it would probably be best to continue to improve on that.

Eventually there will be someone that is just better or at the very least nulls your effectiveness. It's not that the fighter did anything wrong. He just fought someone more equally matched. This is natural and happens to every fighter eventually.

Also GGG didn't seem to learn anything when fighting Rolls. This might be a "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" scenario.

Lastly, I don't think there is much more he can do to add pressure to expend canelo's stamina. The second fight was ment for both of them to put all their cards on the table and if GGG could have done more he would have. If he had more in the tank and didn't use it, he did a disservice to himself.
