After a terrible loss....or two from now is probably the most likely prediction. I think he could just close the door on his career at any point with his political sh^t in the Philippines, but I'm also thinking the President of the Philippines might be fighting on a PBC card one day.

This is one of those "Yea right..... but now that you mention it...." sort of things. I can just imagine the spin they'd put on it. It would be so Pacquiao. Complete nonsense but done with such conviction that it sounds reasonable somehow.

If he was a money saver, he’d probably be retired by now.
If his super hardcore fanatics, would let him be, he might retire.

I wish him the best, but, I already bet on Thurman.
PAC is looking good it training, but I’m still going with Thurman.

Something is up with his money because, as marketable as the guy is, worshiped by an entire country, and adored by the world, there's no reason he should be having financial issues. I have to wonder if he's got leaches close to him, an embezzling accountant, or maybe his wife flounders it all. I'm sure there's something though. Something that if the world knew they would say, "Oh, no wonder..."

Pac's timing is slipping. He was not hitting broner flush. He was missing or grazing him a lot. He should hang them up now. Hes already been in wars and taken a lot of shots way back with Cotto, Magarito and Clottey. No need to take more damage now at 40.

The broner fight lulled them into a false sense of security. Sure he swept the rounds but that was based on activity. Broner always shells up and doesnt throw, we already knew that. Pac took no damage in that fight but he wont get away with that forever. Thurman still had accurate punches. He took a lot from lopez but landed a lot more back. Pac from 5 years ago beats thurman, now I think he loses. And even if he wins, I think he takes a ton of damage. Pac already beat better welterweights than thurman, he has nothing left to prove.

Handspeed without timing is misleading. Well conditioned bodies are misleading. Just look at RJJ, he still had hand speed in old age but his timing was shot. He still was ripped in his early 40s and not flabby until his last cruiserweight fights.

Yeah the accountant working on his audit said a lot of things were all jacked up back in the arum days. Even then... US millions in the phillipines is a fortune. Basically take whatever he makes and multiply it by 5-10x. If he makes $10 million for a fight, its more like $50+ million over there. Even with arum screwing him, he still should be ****** rich.

OK...so I'm coming back to this post again to make a prediction.

Manny couldn't have looked much better than Saturday night and given Mayweather's inactivity (sorry...I don't count the last two carnival acts as activity) there is enough to question the outcome of a rematch and everyone and his mother would watch.

I view the recent little social media back and forth as

with a lot more of this to come.

I now will say with confidence that I fully expect Cinco de Mayo 2020 to be the rematch. Just way too much money for Mayweather to walk away from regardless how much he has...and we all know what Manny wants.
