I find it mindboggling that a writer for boxingscene.com is allowed to post an article without researching his subject to shed more light on topic.

He never even mentioned the fact that Manny Pacquaio has voluntarily signed on with VADA's 24/7 365 Clean Boxing Program that give random drug tests to fighters between and outside of fights or that Manny just took a test(his 4th) recently and passed again with flying colors.

Gibbons had reacted to an outcry from fans regarding the lack of VADA involvement. He told WBN on Tuesday: “Nevada State Athletic Commission is using VADA style testing for Manny Pacquiao’s fight with Keith Thurman.

“It should also be noted that Senator Pacquiao is enrolled in the World Boxing Council / Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA) 365 24/7 program,” he added.

The author also never mentioned that the WBA has announced that they are going to be giving VADA style random drug tests to both fighters with a different drug testing agency (PEDTO) so basically in essence Pacquaio is going to be tested randomly twice along with the NSAC pre fight and post fight routine tests.

Bennett, updating from Las Vegas later on Tuesday, said both fighters would be monitored.

“As you know, the PEDTO conduct random testing for the promoters. Also, a few Commissions to include the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC),” Bennett exclusively told World Boxing News.

Your getting mixed up or twisting facts.There is a BIG dufference between "the clean boxing program" which is run by the WBC and hardly tests due to money.The 365 Vada testing is what it says you can be tested at anytime during the year and Pac IS NOT in 365 VADA testing.

Yup and now their trying to confuse people by saying "the clean boxing program" run by the WBC and does VERY little testing due to money they have put into it and VADA 365 testing where you can be tested even without a fight signed are the same.Also 365 Vada you pay for like what Donaire and Wilder are doing.

Holy Shyt a writer that is welling to challenge and say something real pertaining to Manny Pacquiao! I have never seen a fighter get the soft gloves treatment Pac gets! He gets softball question and more media passes than one could ever hope for. From the time he walked away from the Mayweather fight over Blood and urine test, to saying he heeled his shoulder by swimming in the ocean, Manny gets the cashmere glove treatment! Don’t get me wrong he’s a great fighter but shyt about him is highly suspect and su****ious!

What is highly su****ious and suspect about Manny? The first Mayweather negotiation occurred more than a decade ago. At that time Pacqauio actually was willing to take a random blood test as well as the routine urine tests pre and post fight. He only didn't want the blood test a week before the fight because he felt(rightly or wrongly) that the blood tests would weaken him.

At that time the Mayweather camp kept on adding conditions to the negotiation including the type of gloves(Mayweather wanted the more padded gloves while Manny wanted the thinner Cleto Reyes gloves), the venue of the fight, which fighter gets the greater percentage, etc. all of which the Pacquaio camp eventually acceded to almost all of Mayweather's demands. He felt that Mayweather kept on adding conditions and were deliberately trying to weaken him at that time.

Nevertheless in principle he also agreed to the random drug blood test as long as it is scheduled a week before the fight which the Mayweather camp leaked to the press and blew out of proportion stating that Pacquaio didn't want random blood test at all and might be cheating.

Manny even sued in court the Mayweather camp because of these allegations and the Mayweathers eventually settled denying that they ever claimed that Pacquaio was cheating. Of course by then the damage was done, and Pacquaio's reputation has forever been tarnished not because of any positive tests but because of rumors started and spread by haters like you.

Eventually Pacquaio during the second Mayweather negotiation acceded to taking the random drug tests under USADA rules without any conditions and from then on nearly a decade ago until today(except for the Matthysee fight) has been taking VADA contracted random drug tests during fights regularly and even volunteered for the VADA 24/7 365 Clean Boxing Program that occurs between fights.

For this upcoming fight against Thurman, not only was he tested by VADA under the CBP random blood testing program, but apparently the WBA is contracting PEDTO to do a VADA style random drug test as well. The NSAC also will be doing their routine prefight and postfight tests as well so Manny will basically be tested 3 times before the fight.

What else can a guy do to prove he is clean?

Acc. to Pacquaio's manager Sean Gibbons, Pac is indeed voluntarily enrolled in the VADA WBC CBP 365 24/7 blood testing program. In fact, he was just recently tested under that program which occurs between fights. VADA is not under contract for the Thurman fight, so the blood test occurred under the CBP 365 24/7 rules that is taken between fights, which Pacquaio volunteered for.
