Awesome!!! The winner becomes the clear cut, unquestioned HW champion of the world. Haven’t had one of those since Fury went MIA after defeating Wladimir for the legitimate strap.

If that happens, Furys next 2 fights will be Vs bums and have zero buzz. That would make 3 straight unsuccessful fury events which hurt him at the negotiation table. Add in the fact that wilder would be unifying for undisputed Vs Ruiz. If wilder were to become undisputed while at the same time Fury and ESPN are failing to generate buzz/views wilder becomes a overwhelming massive A-side to Fury/espn. ESPN would be insanely pissed at arum for making them invest in a superfight that doesn't reward them enough financially.
You wish.

But they fight on different networks. I was told by the experts on this forum you need at least 1 million buys projected for a cross network PPV.

This does not make sense, that less than a 3 week turnaround for camp if Wilder fights in November, does not make sense, Wilder won't fight again until the late Spring.
Fury is full of sh/t, he is just feeling the heat because people are calling out the fact that he ducked the rematch.

Wilder's team has confirmed both Ortiz and Fury as successive opponents for awhile now. Team member Jay Deas was interviewed on July1st by WBN's (World Boxing News) Phil Jay and also confirmed both opponents.
Ortiz is expected to happen in September or October, with Fury likely to be late February or March.Last edited by Alan Smithee; 07-07-2019, 11:25 AM.

Not saying anyone's lying but I'd have thought that Wilder would wait to see what happens with Ruiz vs Joshua first?
